Keep trudging along, Lump. Don't let your autism slow you down
I don't fn care. The below is the Way this guy works. These are the last words on Obama wire tapping... possibly. Until Trump claims Obama has planted fleas in his ear canal.
"As you all know, the president is a neophyte in politics. And I think a lot of the things he says, you "guys" sometimes take literally,” Nunes said to the press.
So basically we have possibly Trump's most loyal backer in Congress, Nunes, saying that "we" and the press don't know what to take literally. There are no wire taps on Trump but we gotta investigate. The Great Troll has fooled us. Excellent. President Troll.
A wall, who the fck knows? immigration, we'll just f that up and try again. Health care, we got the biggest bestest plan that you guys might not need to take literally as we have no plan but a plan has to turn up... on and on. So we need a master troller running our country spouting whatever he feels cause he is new.
Yeah we gotta take some time investigating Obamas wiretaps, there is no evidence we have found. But he is new, so it's not clear what he really means and does not mean. Smooth guy. Fantastic.
Keep trudging along, Lump. Don't let your autism slow you down
The person that's spoken most rationally about out all of this is former AG Michael Mukasey, imo.
I find it really hard to believe Trump, who now has access to more intel than anyone, would lob these accusations a few days ago on Twitter without prior knowledge of incriminating evidence. First part of vault 7 drops today. Trump immediately hands over related do ents to Senate intelligence committee.
I still don't follow. The Russian angle didn't enter until after the DNC hacks, which painted Shillary in a bad light. So the revelation that the CIA can pretend to be Russians while hacking matters because? Is the implication that the CIA leaked the DNC do ents? or there's some dots that don't connect?
I missed the part where you thought it was coincidence or not.
He doesn't have to lob allegations. He can release hard evidence. IOW, he (allegedly) has the 'smoking gun' at hand, and the authority to make it public. What doesn't make sense is that he went to twitter instead of releasing that intel first.
Good for you.
The only angle that makes sense, IMO, is that he won't release that intel (if he really has it), because he knows it would start a storm of huge proportions and he'll likely lose that power, which he probably wants to keep.
Who knows? Trump is a thin skinned emo re , but he does(should) have access to every bit of intel available. Maybe he went off of Breitbart/Levin, which MSM was feverishly reporting, or he has better info. Who TF knows at this point?
I still believe the DNC leaks came from the inside, like Assange and Murray have claimed from the beginning. The CIA has the ability to make the DNC insider leak narrative disappear and put it on Russia.
I posted it after the tweets, tbh... if you're thinking long game, he now has a built-in excuse to spy on journalists, politicos and everybody he deems an 'enemy'. He can always pull the 'but, but, they did it to me'... it's a good ploy.
This is basically what his closest Republican backers in Congress are saying. But they use the word neophyte so he can be forgiven.
Holy crap...
They don't though, unless they hack the DNC themselves with Russian tools. That was the implication of this 'Vault 7'...
(and FWIW, I never bought the Russia angle, tbh, you can look up my previous posts about it. Shillary lost the election because she was a terrible candidate).
TSA sees a master Troll at work.
And the Breitbart article could have just as likely come from Trump through Bannon.
I've stopped trying to knee jerk judge Trump's moves as a few days later his endgame becomes more clear.
The events over the last few days have been fascinating to watch.
This makes sense. But, if he opens this can of worms (which he invited), doesn't he risk losing that anyway?
If he really wanted to protect the IC, his Tweets were pretty dumb.
Personally, I think he wants revenge on Obama and Brennan.
He could have easily just pulled but, but, Obama did it first.
Boots backs that horrible Russian excuse.
The bolded nails it.
Possibilities are endless. The CIA could have hacked after the insider leak.
But the Russian angle has been pushed hard. If you didn't believe it, it still came from somewhere and was tried to be sold with flimsy evidence, or lack of any evidence at all.
Totally agree. He has temper tantrums. He still can't stand his general election loss but somehow his aides have distracted him from the 3 million illegal votes.
I don't think there is anything to the Russian stuff of significance.
I see a congressional investigation into the Obama administration spying on a Prseidential candidate and the biggest intelligence leak since Snowden on the table. Enjoy your checkers set.
Of course the Russian angle has been pushed hard. At least two people have lied about very basic stuff.
If we're frank, his bots swallow those twitter posts whole. He doesn't need anything else. Like you said, maybe he went emo when he found out, but maybe somebody clued him in that maybe it's in his best interest to keep that tool around.
