Why not just have Leonard play point ( just like the Bulls played Butler last season).

Then have as the starters.... green, bertans, aldridge and gasol?

All four can hit the 3.

The amount of people wanting Manu to start is alarming....also, I don't think Murray will even play I hope I am wrong though...
Yea ... I don't want to disrespect Manu, but I wouldn't put more minutes on his body than he's already giving off the bench and he's pretty much hit or miss this postseason, and more miss than hit. The more you put on him, the more chances he will not play well tbh...
Again no disrespect. I could be wrong and be shat on by manu and have no problem with that, but I don't see him starting at all...

It might be Mills... or I could see one of Simmons or Murray and it might be Simmons with Kawhi being the man in the starting lineup anyways.

Problem is I think Murray is not fully healed yet. He's still quite tentative from his last outings. Hopefully Pop starts him then gets benched for Mills. But I think Pop's gonna start Simmons just to with everybody
He was getting to the rim at will in game one. Admittedly his shot was rusty, but I didn't see anything indicating he isn't healthy.

The shot wasn't falling... he hasn't had a good game since he got injured.

Pop trusts veterans in play offs, and Kyle Anderson has played most of his life as a point guard, so therefore he must start.

Patty. If he expects a decent contract after the season, this is the time to step up and show what he's got at PG. Murray still has too many rookie deficiencies to run the team. Second Guard is Manu, third is Kyle Anderson/Simmons.

I say they should just start Murray and let him get the playoff reps. Spurs are not winning anyway, might as well take advantage of the playoffs experience and help the kid move on to the next level.

Leonard also said he could "definitely" see himself in a point-forward role with Parker out. -BSPN

I expect Mills to start because that would maximize his minutes. If Murray starts a playoff game it would be a good sign for the future that Pop has confidence/hope for him.

To say the truth, i think starting patty is the safest bet and probably what will happen.
It makes sense to pair Murray with Manu and slide Green to the SF spot minutes.
Playing Manu with Murray will be useful for him as Manu seems like the best pressure valve for him to have.

I'd think about playing Murray when Beverley subs out. Not sure he would handle the ball pressure well from Bev at this point

Doesn't look likely but we need more of the young guns, if nothing else than their hustle to get back. Also Murray, Simmons penetration could really open up the offense.

I'd prefer Murray, but for some reason I think Pop's going to go with Manu.

    Murray starts.
    Mills gets the most minutes.
I voted Mills, but yours is also a likely scenario - and one that I prefer to starting Mills. But regardless of who starts, I hope that Simmons gets most/all of Manu's minutes.

There's absolutely no way crusty old Popovich is starting Murray. I'd guess Anderson or Mills.

I don't care who starts at pg as long as it isn't Ginobli. he'll have a turnover as soon as we win the jump ball.
