Meh, Clippers weren't going anywhere with Blake's injury prone ass anyway.

unfortunately for the lakers, clippers are still far better. Still, this trade doesn't do much for either team. It's tank city.

they are stll better their talent is experienced ...
but we are younger have more cap room and actually have young pieces somebody would want ...with Brook, Kcp expiring and Randle a RFA ...we can still flip Ingram for someone of Paul George quality (we refused to include him in talks for George which is why they got Oladipo) while Blake only brought a first and Tobias Harris who is basically a older more expensive Kyle Kuzma ...

Looks like our front office is all in on the pipe dream:

I don't see it happening, because who would sign with us after the way we just crapped on Blake? But as I said, the only way this trade makes any sense is if we land a big fish in free agency.
Even the Guests, Grizz and Jazz got jokes:

Unless Clippers plan here is to acquire picks, picks and more picks to try and sign and trade for LeBron and also try and acquire Kevin Love in the offseason and CP3 returns to Clippers. In other words Clippers could be trying to get ready for LeBron to move the Cavs to LA (at least Love in a trade). Sounds ridiculous but who knows. If LeBron leaves Cleveland the Clippers will have plenty of picks to offer Gilbert who would be rebuilding. That could be what they are up to by cleaning house, it's a gamble but if they can't sign LeBron they will be rebuilding anyway.

This was just a comparison to Clips ...
Broussard reported today just what I said ...
Lakers have more young talent and he would not consider Clips and he heard that from sources close to LeBron post West ...
Lakers are in year one of a new regime we have kuzma ball ingram randle nance and clarkson still very young and show flashes while not having anyone as good or proven as Blake or Lou.
i know it pains you but future is bright ...if we dont blow it all up chasing stars. i wont be mad if we sign PG ...but personally i say wait to see if Klay and kiwi come free ...if not keep acquiring young talent ...i would take either over George ...
    and LeBron aint coming ...

LeBron's not coming here, but still, at believing anything Broussard and his "sources" are reporting. He's never right about anything.

The Lakers' young talent is Kuzma and that's it. They've been tanking for years and he's all they have to show for it. We just started our rebuild today and I'd still rather have Montrezl Harrell and Ty Wallace over anyone on the Lakers besides Kuzma. Maybe with another year of development, you can add Jawun Evans to the list as well.

Whil I love Lonzo, I’m not sure if the Lakers’ future is brighter. The Clippers are in a better position because of draft picks and assets that can net them more potential picks in Lou Williams and DeAndre Jordan. Tobias Harris is better than any Laker right now. He’s young, talented and is under a cap friendly salary.

The biggest difference here IMO is West and Magic. The former believes in rebuilding through young talent while the latter is enamored with the idea of building his around Superstars, regardless of fit and cir stance.

agree on magic that is my concern dreamchasing ..
but Harris?! i like but Kuzma is younger and cheaper ...he will better than him in two years he already does things i havent seen Tobias do from a skillset perspective in year one.
rather have Ingram and ball over anyone on Clips current roster, longterm.

look in the long term smart to be rid of Blake at that salary but you just lost your best player for a bunch of solid spare parts good enough to ensure the tank wont bottom but not good enough for the playoffs...

like i said when he came, West is the logo but its 2018...
he doesnt scare me as much as Balmer's deep pockets do ...but so far none of the picks or players acquired by letting go Paul have done except Sweet Lou and yall trading him too ...

    so so far ...
west gave up paul/Blake for Harrel, lou, wisconsin kid, avery and pat B plus two non lotto first rounders?! the thievery!!!
Signed Gallo and Blake and drafted Evans and went from playoffs to 9th seed in half a season?!
West is doing God's work sons ...lol.
Attendance tanking ratings dropping yet despite being 6 games worse than Clips, we on the way up!

Stanley Johnson actually sucks balls. That's how bad Cavs defense is these days.

Clippers didn't miss out not getting him.
