He & the spurs will handle it better this time arouund.
He only got doubled last year because Kawussy got hurt, other than that he would have been single covered all game

True but thats why they were surprised & LA didnt handle it well. Having a almost whole season minus Kawhi to prepare for the swarm or double will help.

Prediction, Kawhi to be in a pre game shoot around. Keep Golden State Currys guessing.

Don't wanna make ado about nothing, but Manu looked like he had a small limp, tbh...

Might need to head to NY and have it checked out, IMO

The diagnosis is in. Kawhi's doctors checked webmd and Manu might have his leg amputated or get chemo.

He might run into Kiwi there and get accused of ganging up on him with a WoJ bomb about Manu crowding his space and wanting to verify his medical “sauces”

Oh so that’s why he’s bald?

PS not wishing that on him btw. Kind of a cruel joke but it was so funny.

Manu can have his other testicle removed while over there and still make it for Game 2

This may be the biggest basketball game of LMA's career. The range of possibilities are enormous.

The Spurs seem to be using him like they once used Tim Duncan -- low post scorer and defender. Team anchor.

This is a change in style that Aldridge has taken to much more than I would have thought.

The irony is that Pop reportedly told LMA to forget about the "Spurs way" and just play his game -- however, the result has been that Aldridge's game is much more Spurs-like than ever before.

Is Pop a genius or just lucky? Did Pop know what he was doing with some kind of zen approach to get Aldridge to the desired destination by alternative means?

No matter what, the clock may strike midnight this afternoon. Or not.

People talk about this should have been a redemption series for kawhi. No! This series can and hopefully will be a redemption series for Lamarcus.

Losing to the warriors last year and the way LMA played pretty much led to all the trade talks and such and eventually the talk between pop and him. And boom all year lamarcus has come out in redemption mode.

Now we have gone full circle and he's back against the team that started his redemption mode. Can Lamarcus complete it and lead the Spurs to victory?

This series can easily be a series that can change everyone's perspective of him. If he's able to help the spurs make this series a highly compe ive one, even if they lose in 7, it can change how lamarcus is viewed as a player/leader.

Can he make the right pass out of the double team, will he call for the ball when things are not going our way, will he take advantage of mismatches.

If Lamarcus wants to leave a real mark on the NBA, on the Spurs, this is the series to do it. He has been the man all year, now it's time to lead this team in the playoffs. No one is expecting you to win so there is no pressure.
