I was one of the first in this site to call all this stuff for what I'm still inclined to think it actually was. A fraud.
At the end of the game it also could be called a miscalculated fraud.
I don't know if this is disrespecting the player but the point is that i've been perplexed after what Pop said in Kiwhi's favor.
That said, i'm still inclined to think Pop said such things only because he loves the contributions of the player's past season, and wants to think all the blame has to be put on his new "group".
But imho this can not be the case.
Leonard has to be considered responsible for all that's happened.
Because there are all sort of clues that he shared his behavior with the "group".
Also if there wasn't a fraud, one thing is quite sure: its Leonard that disrespected the only organization that showed to believe in him since the draft night he has been chosen.
And a second thing is sure: he's been totally ungrateful to probably the only organization that could have made and actually made a 15 th pick a top three nba player.
As his former agent said, its quite sure that in another organization Leonard would have never became the player he become after several teaching and nurturing from the Spurs.
Leonard was in a not that good situation in draft time.
In the course of a month, after the analitic scrutiny from all nba draft, he passed from a top 5 prospect to out of the lottery.
Too many flaws...ha was considered as simply as that.
Spurs picked him at 15 after a trade with Indiana, a team that probably would not have drafted Kiwhi as well...considering they already had a more than promising player in his role. So he would have been chosen at least in the second half of the draft.
That said, I don't see the sense of the list of this thread, if not, as looks habit of the thread starter, to provoke real Spurs fans.
The hunger of all Spurs fans is more than legitimate...and could legitimately grow a lot in case will be discovered that a fraud has actually happened.
In any case the thread le should be changed in "list of posters that feel disrespected, as Spurs fans, by Leonard behavior". In that case I'm obviously in, such as, I suppose, the majority of the posters (spursfans) writing in Spurstalk.
I'm going to start a list of posters that can actually start threads. Guess who isn't on it?
