    If USC, Texas, and Va Tech win out then Texas will be #3 in the BCS. Book it.

    You Texans should hope that happens because UT would get waxed by USC anyway.

    If strength of schedule meant anything anymore I would agree with you, but schedule strength doesnt seem to matter anymore.

    It would take a SEC team coming on strong late to throw the BCS into yet another ed up result.

    Right now, USC has the #8, 22 and 24 teams left on their schedule.

    UT? No ranked opponents left, save for whoever they may face in the Big 12 Championship game.

    Va Tech has #13 Boston College and #6 Miami left on their schedule as well as a likely matchup with #10 FSU in the ACC Championship game. If they get through that unscathed they will pass Texas.

    texas will likely lose the number 1 bcs on saturday
    and IF vatech goes undefeated then they would have a gripe or even pass texas to the 2
    thats at the end of the season
    thats a big IF
    but what I think will happen is USC will lose a reg season game, vatech will lose to miami or in the acc champ game
    and Texas faces a mystery team in the rose bowl, maybe georgia or UCLA, the last unbeatan, USC will have the highest bcs rankings among the 1 loss teams and might even get to be #2 at the end of the season anyway

    That is not what I said. I just think that the Ags are going to be waiting to pounce on them. Huge game and all. Rivalries have too many intangibles. The Student Body is going to be all up in arms and it is the Maroon Out game as well. Ags will be AT LEAST 20 pt dogs...but I hope the Horns are wary...They are the only hope we have in the BIG XII to win the le back for the conference.

    Man Dre 7 must be re ed when it comes to college football either that or he is way too much into USC.....cause seroiusly...there is no way in Texas is going to lose in the Championship game....they havent been to the big show in how many years??? With Vince Young manning the quarterback position there will be no end to the possibilities.....just simply as Michigan....
