It's plantar faciitis. And anyone thinks the Spurs docs had anything to do with this, or any of the other injuries are pretty damn ignorant.

And hopefully Murrays agent doesn't screw it up and let someone besides Dr Schmidt do his ACL. He's one of the top knee docs there are, and his hands and technique are as good as any in the world.

Wow. He must have a grade 2 sprain in the ankle or something...

Out 6-8 weeks is that not the same as Walker’s meniscus surgery?
They said heel injury not ankle which makes me think its a form of plantar fasciitis which can take a WHILE to heal.

San Antonio media tbh. First they say it’s a precautionary... bull
Exactly. Now MCW is saying that Walker is ahead of schedule. Dunno where they're getting their info from, but it doesn't seem to be that reliable.

I think after the Kawhi fiasco, SA is not in the mood to be doing anything for media.

Can you imagine ST, after thinking they got “rid” of TP, having to deal with SA giving up assets to get him back

Just remember you had a chance to get Lonzo and Ingram...
With our luck with the medical staff lately, they both would have been injured.

Most of 26 games against playoff hopefuls.

Only 'easy' games are Dallas, @ Phoenix, Orlando, @ Sacramento, @ Phoenix, @ Bulls

Maybe Clippers and Memphis, but those teams should be compe ive early
Even the “easy” games against Dallas aren’t easy they have given the Spurs fits last season and Smith Jr and Doncic look like they can repeat the Trae Young, Taurean Prince Atlanta Hawks act of last game.

If Paul had any PG skills or at least really good lateral quickness, he could make some sense. He has the girth to check bigger players, so he could protect DeRozan there. At his best, he was a fine enough role-player. But he didn't seem to have the upside to make sense.

Walker is going to be more like 4 weeks with medial meniscectomy. He had a repair on the same knee in college which likely led to the problem. These guys are all in the right hands. Spurs docs are the same ones that worked on Duncans knee, twice. Did Robinsons Jones fx surgery, and Bertans ACL. They know what they are doing. For the record- The problem with the Kahwitter deal, is that he was diagnosed correctly but he didn't follow the recommended rehab protocol. His team stepped in and put their own rehab together. Saw how that worked out. Oh, and he's a pussy.

How can he be ahead of schedule? He just got injured last Friday or something. That’s irresponsible reporting. Maybe his surgery was so successful that there’s no inflammation or anything and he’s looking forward to starting rehab soon but saying it’s ahead of schedule is stupid so far ahead that it’s only 5 days from the time he had the surgery.

Essentially saying that the original projection was too long, not that Walker made some dramatic improvement.

It was always going to be about 4 weeks on Walker. With the regards to irresponsible reporting, well ya.

I would also imagine White will get treated with a PRP injection. Hopefully speed up the process.

Ok thanks. In which case they still reported that initial projections wrong. Their choice of words is misleading too.

If you're standing still the risk of injury falls dramatically.
