Why do the wiz do this ? [Re trade of Beal for LMA]
The Wiz do that because they have suffered a psychotic episode, and think they are trading a sea serpent for a unicorn.

Is how that trade works. Hey, it could happen.

    Just Never Came Together
I think LMA genuinely liked Duncan. I noticed during their first year together when LMA was down Tim knew how to console him and get his head in the game.

I guess you could argue addition by subtraction, but if the best he can fetch is something like Nurkic, Harkless, 1st, is it even worth it? Because if that's all he's worth, I'd rather they try to come to an understanding or compromise with him.

I can live with the post ups, especially when he has a clear advantage, but the pick-and-pop long 2s have to go. Those need to become 3s. The face ups, when he can't beat his man off the dribble and settles for some awkward, contorted shot, has to go too. Those needs to be kick outs and resets.

Unlike a year and a half ago, the Spurs hold the hammer this time. Since championship contention is now a pipe dream, they don't need him to continue to work towards that and good luck to him finding another team that allows him to play archaically.

If he'd fetch Nurkic, Harkless, and a 1st I would take that.

    No one wants Aldridge

I guess a team like hornets can use him.
    JV + CJ for Softridge.

If he would just beast down low, he would be incredible. But no, has to constantly shoot weak ass fade-aways.
That's how he's always been. ass finesse garbage pissed me off when he was at UT.
