As you should be. The thing is, Lakers’ development program is mediocre at best. It’ll take 4 or 5 years before that player is performing at a “star” level. Maybe even longer. Lebron’s window will be closed.
4th pick will be packaged for a current star player. That’s their only hope. But no teams in the West are going to make that trade with Lakers.

Those were different drafts. Last year's draft was especially stacked, as people were saying at the time. This year's draft is completely unimpressive after Ja - the fact that a player like RJ Barrett is the consensus #3 pick says it all.
