I side with the players 8 out 10 times...on most issues.
But my BS meter senses this olive branch for a future CBA negotiation... And PR stunt.
FO people here believe player's association as soft as it is really care about this all that much?
And those sell well in the long and short term?

New Orleans Pelicans' Gayle Benson has no plans to ditch term 'owner'

While it's not that big of a deal, this is probably what it is. I mean semantically, it isn't going to change a thing about one's viewership nor is it going to persuade any racist tones a fan may have. Either way, if it affects you in some kind of way, then you have to reassess your mental for ude.
It's what they consistently do. It plays well to their clientele, who are SJWs on the whole.
Old White men love the term "ownership" in general. Look at what they did to Black Americans even after Lincoln freed the slaves. Also look at this current WH administration. I'm surprised David Dennison hasn't outrage tweeted about this yet.![]()
Me likey. When is Zion's first contract over?![]()
Asians and Arabs love it more
If it would the WNBA would be popular.
Good for the NBA. Governor also sounds pretty badass so there's that.
I think it sounds gay as . I picture some foppish Brit saying, "Ello gov'nah".
Does that look like someone you'd want to be if you were an NBA owner?
why are you guys pretending to care about this? doesnt affect any of you. who gives a tbh...
even if the outrage behind the change was pedantic, its ultimately harmless. the counter outrage is probably even more stupid imo. at least the players have a direct relationship with the owners, so their perceived grievance is at least personal. why random fans and media members give a at all is mind boggling
yeah tbh its almost as bad as that time avante thought the NFL was ruined because they hired a female sideline ref
Neither does climate change
not the smoothest pivot
Governed
I don't really care. I think they could have done better than "governor".
Again, I do think it's ridiculous to have to avoid the word that was the best word choice to describe what it described.
And wonder if places like McDonald's will follow suit.
