Vince Carter's technically a free agent since the Hawks are out right?
I know he retired.
There's always Tracy McGrady...

Any players who sit out Orlando will have a proportional amount withheld from their pay. LMA, as an injury recovery, will be paid in full.
Actually i find that this is good. In the worst case scenario Poeltl gets 8 games where he starts an gets expierenced. If SA makes the play-offs he has 4 games more.
More spacing?
Put Deroazan in ISO and surround him with shooters
I miss Bertans![]()
Lowers the Spurs' ceiling and floor, but I actually think they could still make the playoffs. Ideally, they'd run
Murray, Mills
Walker, White
DeRozan, Johnson
Lyles, Gay
Poeltl
With Eubanks filling in missing center minutes and Beli getting wing minutes. Obviously though, Forbes is going to get big minutes still. I don't think it's certain he'll continue to start, but I can't see him not playing half the game regardless. As I said in another thread, I expect Walker to get a lot of SF minutes with DeRozan, Gay and Lyles shifting up positions. Lonnie's not the one who's going to get screwed. Johnson will be.
When I read the thread le I thought... oh, , vaginits strikes again, but I'm glad to hear it was just the shoulder...
I keep hearing different stories. Does making the playoffs hurt our draft spot? I thought we were locked in at 11th regardless if we move up or down (and even make the playoffs).
Would rather have a shot at the #1 pick than get rocked by the Lakers.
Yes making playoff will move the draft.
Point is either spurs get 11th or make playoff. Meaning they can try hard to make playoff. If they fail they lose nothing. If they succeed then spurs get a chance at champion at cost of draft
In most years, I'd say playoff experience and playing on the road is worth a worse draft pick. Not sure how much value playing on a neutral site would be for the young guys.
