Don't forget, That Maverick loss was the season home opener for Dallas. They were pumped up for the Spurs. The Mavs treated that game as their " Championship" game.
So what Dallas won that that game by 30 points. All teams are trying to bring their "A" game against the Spurs every game they play. They better bring it or get blown out of the gym. Come May thru June the Spurs bring their A+ game, and that my friends is the difference between the Spurs, and all the wanna be champions.
I think the Mavs will be a better team over the long haul because they have better ownership and better managment.

Spurs own 3 Rings. Dallas doesn't own crap. But in 2005, the Mavs sent the Spurs out of town with their heads up their asses. So in real time, its Dallas 1, Spurs 0.
Dallas does look pretty good as long as the 7 foot shooting guard is dropping shots. I don't understand how they win 50 games with the style they play and the personnel changes they have had, that is pretty impressive.
