Forbes is a shooter, which is a desired skill. He should be tradable to some team that wants the shooting, and is less concerned about the other stuff.
SMH why don't we all try out for an NBA team next season.

Will be hilarious if he goes to the ABC/Disney/Lakers and gets another ring.
I already ordered my headband
It's lining up well. Forbes brings back some sort of asset and Primo/Jones attain his minutes.
Kinda makes me wonder if Forbes might be included in a Thad trade, I could see the suns being interested in both guys if the money works
I know it's nothing but rumors at this point, but that'd be such a good trade for the Spurs - get rid of two players who aren't on the team's timeline and don't do much for us, and in exchange get a FRP, and also a relatively solid prospect at a position of need, if only just to not have to see so much of Eubanks on the rotations. We'll see what happens, I'm not hopeful on any Spurs mid-season trades, regardless of how good they might be.
Patty Thrills dropped 30 points tonight. He's still better than Forbes, tbh.
yup, mills career high in points 13& min-30 per game. Poor bryn only 9 ppg on 2nd lowest minutes of his career 14.
Lakers - Mavs light night gave a glimmer of hope that Bryn Bryn might become a Lakers.
Very close back n forth game with plenty of high school level possessions in the 4th. Lebron was clanking too.
Crunch time Lebron did a very good drive and push out to Ellington who was wide open for the trey. Ellington shoots an airball, this baby missed by like 2 feet. Ya it was bizarre. Anywho Lebronze did not look pleased at all. Made me wonder where Ellington stood on the Lakers but I could see GM Lebron getting Forbes on the cheap expiring.
If that was gonna happen, all shot to by uber slacker defense by Hardaway Jr. with 3 seconds remaining and a 3 point lead. Lets Ellington get 15 feet open then flies past him paratrooper club and into the stands as El faked the shot. Next, swish for the tie. Won in OT.
Ellington safe.
This guy dropped 25 points last night and the Spurs got smashed by a weaker team. Didn't watch the game but I'd bet there's a correlation with Forbes' empty stats not amounting to a benefit in wins/losses.
Spurs are 3-10 when Bryn plays 16 minutes or more.
Must be some sort of a record having 8+ games with 0 points and 8+ games with 15+ points.
These days Forbes is playing as well as he can on defense and coming up with some good shooting nights. We ain't losing games because of Forbes. There are a couple of players who aren't consistent enough for us to win games against teams that are close to us in talent otherwise.
He certainly isn't helping the cause, but that's not the problem.
The problem is that every other team is playing young players or even players on two-way deals, while every single player we draft has to spend a year "getting over himself".
Looking at this year's draft, even Kuminga played more than Primo. They have Wiggins, Iguodala, Draymond, Bjelica and Otto Porter on wing positions. And they have second best record in the league.
Meanwhile we have one of the worst players in the league taking Primo's minutes. And what do we get in return? Two more wins than OKC that has one of the worst rosters in NBA history.
Will playing Bryn help us win any games? Maybe a couple of games per season when he gets hot. While being the worst player on the floor in like half the games he plays. On a team that won't come close to .500 record. What's the ing point of playing him then?
Primo playing 10mpg this year would do more for his development than playing 35mpg in G-league.
Forget about the fact that Primo is the youngest player in the league. So what. Even better for him to get NBA reps as soon as possible.
If a contender offered a SRP for Bryn Forbes NBA Champion pedigree would Pop even consider that?
Unfortunately Pop's been trash for yrs now but still has the keys to the castle.
Didn't see the game.
Excellent shooting stats, however was Bryn Bryns D a significant contributor to Hield and the Kings 3 pters going in?
Don’t think so. Hield was hot. He hit 7 of 9 and he was even shooting over Poeltl and hitting.
Despite that, the 3pt shooting wasn’t lopsided. The Kings were 14/25 but the Spurs were 12/25. The 3pt shooting was showy, but the game was lost elsewhere.
DNP vs Lakers
Can some of you insider sniffers tell us what is coming down with Pop n Bryn?
Dex, exstatic?
Early Christmas present whatever the reason. Just need the team to advise the DNP before tipoff so we know it’s a good game to watch
After the stunning DNP vs Lakers, Pop n Bryn are back to robbing Primo and others from minutes.
22 minutes vs the decimated Detroit lineup as Bryn Bonner returned.
Up 20+ most of the game, Pop just had to leave Forbes in.
Good question.
Wonder if the contenders are the hold up or rather Pops Pets?
Interesting.
His 2 for 10 last night wasn't great. Needs to be hitting shots to keep that trade value up!
Pop n Bryn keep it rolling vs Memphis last night.
20 minutes for Bryn Bryn.
20 Bryn
8 Primo
4-8 and 2-4 last night in Bonner time.
Don't think there is a GM or team in the NBA who's buying Pops b.s.
Unless he can find someone in the Sniffer Tree just can't see any team falling for it.
