we are playing zone against a team full of 3-point shooters. That’s why they are hitting everything. I understand doing that against the Bucks, but not the Pacers. Flopovich is getting outcoached by Carlisle once again. That everybody except Murray decided to suck tonight just adds on to it.

Also, as great as Poeltl has been this season, it's concerning that every big man with a bit of offensive skill has gone off on him.
A big, big mistake the Spurs are making this game is not feeding Jakob properly, tbh. They're giving him the ball at the top of the arc and just expect him to create for himself for some reason?? Why has White forgotten he's one of the best PnR ball-handlers in the league? Just get the team rolling instead of the old drive-> pass out -> drive again strategy that never works out...
It's a gameplan thing. You don't stop a great scoring big one-on-one in the modern NBA, they all know how to draw fouls and get you in foul trouble quick (see Embiid for example). You gotta double them and make them pass away the shot, make the rest of the team beat you.
Sadly, it's a concept that's eluded Pop for decades now, it seems. Having a SF playing at the 4, unable to provide effective help, boxing out, and rebounding, is a big part of the issue, too. Poeltl's constantly forced out of position due to teammates' limitations if you watch closer.
