Ok guys, there's alot to unpack here about tonight's game, but here's some key observations I thought I'd share:

1. We need everyone healthy.

Spurs needed this win. The losing was becoming the norm.

Murray has improved year after year and he is only 25 years old.

Did Vassell hit a sop re wall? Cause he has SUCKED lately

Doesn't have a clear role offensively. Doesn't get to handle the ball enough with Dejounte Derrick and Tre here. Doesn't get to go off the dribble for shots like Dejounte Derrick Lonnie and Keldon. If Forbes or McDermott are on the floor with him they get more catch and shoot 3's than he does. He is suffering the most from Forbes coming back cause he should be getting all of Forbes minutes. Playing KBD more now and that is also eating into his minutes. He is this year the same place Lonnie was last year.

The good news from this season thus far IMO is that KBD is showing himself to be a potential starting 4 on a future winning team. Will he develop that into being an undeniable starter or just a marginal starter/bench player? But his emergence, especially defensively is the biggest surprise of the season.

So, imo, you have Murray, Vassell, Primo, and KBD that you count on for the near future. Id like it if White was there too but his play is just not consistent.

So you think giving Vassell more touches and minutes will make him a better player when he’s blowing his current opportunities with dumb play after dumb play? Ehhh..
