I was pretty annoyed that they gave Alicent the out in the last episode with Visery’s rambling. Given she heard what she wanted to hear and was going to move forward with aegon anyway. Was just annoyed they gave her that out though.

I'm not sure I liked that either. Alicent going along with usurping the thrown basically came down to a misunderstanding? She was a raving a couple episodes ago, and now she's questioning her father's actions as she goes along with them anyway. Get the outta here.

I didn't care for that. One of the best parts of the books is not knowing Strong's motivation for anything he does. That scene felt cheap.

The last scene was amazing. Few times do I give credit to the show over the books but that scene was simply amazing.

Great finale. This episode did a good job showing that while dragons have a unique bond with their riders (Syrax screaming when Rhaenyra was in pain), they also have a mind of their own and are not easily controlled by these young, inexperienced boys.

I was kinda rooting for the Hightowers. Alicent is not a bad person, imo. Although I think the son with the one eye would make a much better king than the oldest son. Rhaenyra and Daemon are en led af. Killing off spouses left and right and wanting bas s to be legitimate heirs.

1st episode was trash. really disappointed. i'm not a stickler for the books or anything but the way they handled the choice at the end was much more tame than the books and it was pretty anticlimactic. hope it picks up from here because that was a pretty boring series intro

Harrenhall stuff was great.

The meeting at King's Landing was kinda pointless. While it served to show Alicent what an absolute idiot she has been, it wasn't gonna stop the war. No matter how the conversation went, just way too many things have happened.

Fantastic episode. Watching the Dragons get hurt or die somehow feels worse than watching the actual human characters die.

Harrenhal stuff is still super interesting. Loved the take on Alys Rivers.

Best episode of this saga since Vizzy T decided to sit on the Throne one final time in S1 E8.
