The initial diagnosis for Charles Bassey is a non-displaced fracture of his left patella, Spurs say.He is expected to undergo additional testing Wednesday.
It looks like this win came with a price.

low-key fire from Blake Wesley and I think he will be alright. Just a little longer to develop and honestly Malaki is making it look slow by comparison to his meteoric rise. Blake is probably showing a normal dev curve but Bran is making it look slower with his own bloom. Obvs the 5 slots factor in especially around there at late first where the real drop offs begin

I am the opposite on him, he is not that good defensively to invest in. That was the only saving grace of drafting an inefficient offense guy like him.

We historically invest in defensive guards with iffy offense in the late first, they expected Wesley to be the same but his defense is worse than projected. DJ, Cojo, White even Primo was a good rookie defender at 18.

Not even sure what ORL would do with both 23 FRPs

Kinda hope the Bulls land top 4 and do not convey to ORL
Nah, because if they jump ahead of us, that's only one recipe for being pushed back, and that also delays our pick from them until at least 2026, since they will then have to convey their 2024 pick to Orlando, top 3 protected.

Watching the game last night, I can’t tell if Devin is disinterested or still dealing with knee issues. He looked fairly unathletic out there last night. He had some good finishes that were a high degree of difficulty because he had very little bounce.

For me he's better than what i saw with Notre Dame on D and passing game. His potential was more on offense tough he had some meh % in NCAA, like this year with the Spurs.

He’s played literally 1/4 of a season, and you’re bagging on him. It’s not about how is this player in March, it’s how is this player after X number of games. If he plays most of the rest of the season,he still won’t hit 82 games until early 2024.

I used to like him, but unfortunately, those greats games he had, I've forgotten about and mostly remember him for asking out mid-season when we we struggling and going to join Boston.
Yeah, that didn't sit well with me, either.

If his potential is on offense then it is over tbh, his numbers puts him as the worst in the league. He is maybe a two-way guy pre draft, but that defense did not live up to expectation. You just hope it is that because of the knee injury recovery cause without that defense there is really no point in drafting him.

Imo you mays miss something about Wesley. Scouts were high on his offensive potential, carrying Notre Dame in a lot of games. Again like Exstatic said he played in only 23 games....

Not for you but looking only by the numbers, advanced stats is dumb imo especially for a young guy who did not play continuously.

Look at the strenghts and improvement areas. Imo he's a young player with potential in both part of the court.

Any kind of stats, counting or advanced, are more accurate with a larger sample. You got that right.

I just can't believe they just drafted a deer. I think they taught he was a two way guy, those are at least average defensively year 1 until the scoring catches up.

You could see the potential two way in the scouting report.

Is there any videos of all the interviews with the former Spurs players? I haven't watched many of the games, but wouldn't mind seeing the interviews if they're archived somewhere? Are people putting them up on Youtube at all?

Think back to whereMalaki was in December. That’s how many games Blake has played.

Boris’s was exquisite. He’s living his best life, skiing in Utah, sailing around the world, hanging out with friends.
