    If you were a mad scientist, a mad scientist familiar with the Spurs and their history and their values and their self-congratulatory bull and everything, if you were that mad scientist, you couldn't concoct a better Spurs player than Victor Wenbanyama.

    Basically TP couldnt close the last 2 games once the Nets started "respecting" and pressuring him
    Speedy wasn't close to TP\s level

    Parker couldn't shoot his rookie year. The game plan against a 1 dimensional slasher is not hard to conceive.

    But he was a layup and tear drop master with high %

    Nets didnt respect him enough the 1st 3 games and IIRCC he was outscoring Kidd (who of course was overall largely better)
