im glad we slowed down on that last possession so Tre Jones can dribble in place for 15 seconds and pull up for a contested 3 pointer
we are obviously lacking talent, but this kind of stuff falls squarely on pop
This team is infuriating to watch on offense right now. I don't think I've ever complained about Pop before but I have absolutely no clue wtf he's trying to accomplish with this complete lack of an offensive system.

he's definitely a bench point guard, but given that our roster lacks a starting point guard, he's the best option
that last play though...

Coaching staff might be in over its heads here. They keep throwing it to Victor when there’s nothing there and he has to create his own shot but won’t throw it to him on the break when he’s slashing down the middle of the paint with a guy half his size on him. Someone has to figure it out. Seems like they are making it a lot harder on the kid than it has to be.
How are the Spurs not running pick and pops with Wemby for midrange jumpers? This is frustrating seeing Sochan and Vassell going to the opposite side of the floor Victor is on every possession.
I think the biggest problem with the starting five is that they're not taking advantage of their biggest strength... Height. They play down to their compe ion.
Sochan, Wemby, KJ and Collins should at least be initiating at times out of the low and high post. Haven't seen it once this game.
