Excellent time management by pop taking Wemby out in the beginning of the 4th just to take him out later early because the game was out of hand.

What's the point of this stupid minutes restriction? Wemby was never injured and he isn't injured now... Secondly he is supposed to be this generational talent, and he shot 13 shots? Come on now... That's how we are developing him? By treating him like a 3rd option?

I just laugh now at this point bc everything I said to start the season is spot on. I really wanted to be proven wrong but damn it’s frustrating to know this is the season we were going to get.
Anybody else would get a generational talent and put them as the focal point of the offense. But not Pop. All of us don’t “know basketball” only Pop does. Never mind that Wilt, Kareem, Jordan, Bird, DRob, Shaq, TD, Lebron. All of them generational talent and all of them got the ing ball in their hands to run the offense through. But nope, Pop knows better than NBA history.
All of NBA history tells you that your players need to know their roles on offense in order to win. Sometimes it’s just be in the damn corner and wait for the shot. But nope not Pop. Vassell can shoot it 18 times, KJ can shoot it, Collins can shoot it. Everyone on the team can ice out the generational talent the entire ing 4th quarter bc it’s a process that needs to be learned. We can’t skip steps guys. I mean I have never heard/read of in the entire history of the damn sport the step that says to not give the ball to your best player to shoot it in the 4th quarter. Can Pop explain that step to me. Bc say what you want about Phil Jackson but he got the damn ball to Michael then Shaq and the Kobe. To quote Pop, “it isn’t rocket science.”
Listening to Pops explanation is even worst bc he’s supposedly “teaching” them how to play basketball. Well for s sake Pop let me help the team out. You see the 7 foot 5 guy standing by the rim wearing #1 on your team. His name is Victor and your job is to get him the ing ball.

I can’t believe they’re doing this again. Even Tre Jones who’s suppose to get Wemby the ball is joining in on it. These are bad habits that can’t be broken.
