I saw a PG who the defense denied letting in the paint, so he put his energy into playing great defense on Rip Hamilton and others.

Id love to know who the point guard is in 2 to 3 years, cause Ginobili is NOT a 30 minute a game PG.

after the spurs win the next 3 championships with the artest lineup?

free agent pg's will salivate to come to SA, which will basically be a team on cruise control winning les...

and i have faith in Pop and RC's drafting skills. or was tony parker the 1st pick in the draft? cuz i forget...

    That ranking is great!
Bibby who is playing like since the start of the season is better than Billups who is a MVP contender???
I don't mind that Parker is 15th in a ranking like that.
If you think that Daniels, Knight, Terry.... are better than Tp, you're must be drunk.

name 5 pgs playing better than tony right now... i guess that thumbs up you overuse makes you think you aren't crazy. you do realize that ranking page you posted is from last season right? tony's PER for this season is 21.42 and he leads the nba in points in the paint. on top of that i am pretty sure none of the pgs on that list have 2 rings. sit

Seriously, BigZak, in the words of SEQU, "Stick to the Club."

First, I doubt Parker for Artest will ever happen. Second, I love how you give credit to Smush Parker and his ability to help the Lakers take the Spurs to 6 games, but you refuse to give Tony Parker any credit in helping the Spurs in the Postseason.

Thirdly, you say Parker refuses to show up in Big Games? Let's see, last season alone: Back to back double OT wins on the road against the Clips and Warriors he scored something like 25 and 35, without Duncan in the lineup during a time when the Spurs were struggling to find wins on the road and keep ahead of Dallas in their division. What about that OT win against Denver in the first round last season? Game 3(?) I believe, where he scored something like 11 points in OT to hold of the Nuggets. What about Game 3 against the Suns last postseason? Where he was cold for 3 quarters but managed back to back three pointers in the 4th to hold off a run on by the Suns? Or what about Game 3 against Detroit last post season? Where he was the only Spur to show up on road games against the Pistons and scored 20 some points? Or how about his defense on Rip and Billups in Games 5 and 7??

If any of the rumors are true and the Lakers can swing a deal to get Artest and if Phil can keep a leash on that psycho (and those are pretty big ifs) then the Lakers MIGHT be able to take the Spurs to six, since the Spurs have a history of being very up and down in the first round.

All the dude needs is his medication,
His "medication" has always been available to him. It's not like he was unable to get it in Indiana or something. HE WON'T TAKE IT. He wouldn't take it there and he wouldn't take it here. The man is a nutjob and he likes being that way. The Spurs DO NOT NEED HIM.

I bet if Pop introduced him as the next Spur in the next couple of days, everyone would embrace him as one of their own. All the people who say "The Spurs Don't Need Him" would jump ship and say how we are now a "dynasty" with him on the team. Artest can play. PERIOD! If he takes his medication all will be well against Detroit if he joins the Spurs! IMO, the Spurs will be swept in the finals against Detroit with the line up we have now. They need another defensive specialist on the floor when Detroit has Billups, Rip and Prince on the floor. Today it's Bruce and Manu Vs all three of them on the perimeter. What are the Spurs going to do now since they upped their game?
