Well, as you all know, I'm usually on vacation more than 110% of the time, well, maybe even more then that, so I like to spread freedoms on the internets in my free time, even basket forums. Eh, nowadays people have nothing better do do than to get their panties all tied up in a bunch because of what other people are doing.
My panties are just fine (no knots), thanks for asking. I don't give a what Britney does with her own body. When I take offense is when she drags an innocent baby into her stupid little games. And I don't like anyone, especially celebrities, who think that laws apply to everyone but them. That is all.

Unfortunately with Britany Spears AND other parents who do not utilize seatbelts and car seats for their children...I will still have a job. God help me when the day comes when I have to work on a child that was needlessly injured in a car accident(MVA) because someone didn't take the time to put their child in a car seat, have their child wear a seat belt, hold their child in their lap. These kids don't just land on the hood...they go flying through the air until friction loss,loss of momentum and gravity stop them or they hit something which causes a sudden deceleration....instantaneously...Man...now I am sad and pissed and I am digressing!!! Just ask any EMT,Paramedics,Firefighters,Nurses and Doctors what their thoughts are....be ready to hear very emotional rants, be ready to give us a drink or be ready to hand us some tissue and give us a hug.
I always see people driving around with kids not in car seats. It's probably because they have about 6 kids and there is not enough room in the car for that many car seats. I guess driving around with them not in car seats is better than leaving them home alone.
I just don't think it's that big of a deal, I know a lot of people that get their sons and put them on their lap and let them steer the wheel while they drive to the corner store, is this considerably different, I don't know because I don't know where she was, how far she drove, or how fast she was going but at the end of the day I'm not going to make a big deal out of something like this because it really isn't.....

If she accidently kills this baby she can just buy herself another one, straight cash.

We can only hope that the people here who don't think this is a big deal/none of our business/not worthy of their concern NEVER REPRODUCE. Because they don't deserve children, IMO. And children certainly don't deserve to wind up with parents like them.

Also something to think about...I've seen do entaries (with crash dummies & all) that show that in most instances of adults in the front seat who are holding a child and are in an accident ... aside from the whole airbag thing ... it's the momentum and weight of the adult crushing the child into the dashboard or steering wheel that causes the most injury to the child, moreso than flying through the windshield or if it were to hit the dashboard on it's own. But I guess because Britney has a lot of money and lots of guys jack off to pictures of her, her baby's safety is less relevant than us poor, old, ugly folks.

If Britney is that much of an idiot to endanger her child like that, then I would rather be the working jane I am than have all her money. This is not an exaggeration, either. I can honestly say I would rather be smart, middle class and with healthy kids than rich, dumb and burying one.

IF you are in an accident @ 30MPH holding a 10lb baby on your lap the force of that 10lb baby becomes 10x's 30 and is too much for ANY human to hold onto in a collision. the child then goes flying thru the windshield (even if there is an airbag - those things start defalting immediatly). There is no way humanly possible to hold onto the baby.
So if your sitting your infant on your lap & driving then you are consciously just waiting for it to die.
