IMO we've destroyed alot of inferior teams this year, and that along with the media attention and hype, we've gotten a little full of ourselves.

On our last big winning streak, we played & beat:

    New Orleans
    Charlotte
    Boston
    Atlanta
    New York
    Houston
    Minnesota
    Milwaukee
    Memphis
    Lakers

Most of those were blowouts except for an OT win against Memphis, and a 2 point victory vs. Houston.

Those wins I'm sure gave us some confidence, but also made us a little y, and it has shown in our play.

I do however look for them to get back to buisness. Hopefully the media drops the 70 win talk. And with the All Star reserves being named this week, we will hopefully no longer hear how everyone including our mascot should be in Houston. We need to lose the distractions, and play some ball.

Hawks played better than the Pistons tonight. Pistons played all right, shots just didn't fall after the first quarter. The Pistons defense was not its best.

Pistons should not have lost, but they just have to regroup and prepare for the Clippers tomorrow night. Bad loss. Not happy about it, but it happens.

Damn the Hawks beat the Pistons and the Spurs in the same season. They should consider this quite an accomplishment.

This loss means nothing. The Pistons are still a great team that will likely win the next 8 or 9 in a row.

I don't understand why Flip consistently overplays Rasheed and Ben Wallace when they aren't performing, when McDyess is there as backup.

Damn, the Hawks are beastly. If only they could make the playoffs, they might win it all ..... Detroit and San Antonio clearly can't hang with them....

Forget McDyess, DARKO is their backup!

    Defense.

Dice can hold his own, but he doesn't compare to either of those 2 guys defensively.

not if they also send Flip as coach
C'mon, Flip was a great coach 10 days ago when the Pistons where 36-5, now he is crap?

Yeah, I agree with that 100%.

But it isn't really going to matter to much against a team like Atlanta. They weren't stopping them anyway as well as contributing nothing offensively, so why not give McDyess a chance to play some extended minutes?

(Maybe I'm just being bias, McDyess is one of my favourite players)

I'd say 70 is out. Before tonight, they were JUST under pace for it. If you took their win pct and multiplied it by 82, you came out with 69.5 wins.

he doesn't compare because ben and sheed of two of the best in the game. Dyess is a good defender and shooter. He's a beast. He should get more minutes. Oh wait I think Flip neck is tightening again

I hear ya, and basically agree with you aswell. I'd like to see Dice get closer to 30 minutes a game. And ideally against a team like Atlanta, he SHOULD be getting that many minutes as it should not be a close contest.

Ouch, Kobe is 4-15...I guess Dallas really doesn't want him to go for 63 tonight
