*thinking of suns game last year when Barry hit some clutch threes*
MANU for 3 off the drive and stop by Beno. Spurs allow late shot though. 35-38 at the half is much better than it was 10 minutes ago.

not a bad finish to a half
Oh- and Nazr's 1 rebound in 14 minutes is great!
Spurs shooting 31%. Impossible to win with that.
The worst shooting team in the NBA averages 42%.
We don't need playoff basketball now, but at least pull your heads out of your asses to play above mediocrity.

Saying something bad about Rasho doesn't mean that Nazr is any better. It's just a statement about Rasho.
He said, "Come on, Joe."
Wow! Tony with 5 pts 0 assists and 3 TO.
Guess who is #1 in fg%. The same team laying bricks out there.
Considering the Spurs are only shooting a little of 32%, and the Grizz are at 51% then 3 points doesn't look so bad.
who gave him the T? I bet all my vBookie it was crawford.
It was.
Put it in perspective the Spurs were at 16% at the end of the 1st and the Grizz over 60%.
I expect end of game Spurs and Grizz both in the 40% and right now expecting still a Spurs victory and props to Barry for keeping his head up and coming in strong.
Does anyone else notice how open a lot of the bigs are when they curl off the pick and rolls, but they never get the ball in that position?
The grizzlies have to be up there with being the biggest choke team ever. They are a tease by how well they play and all of a sudden it's gone when it counts.
Lol, drop the mirror mate!![]()
this has happened lately. They aren't 6 games above .500 in the western conference by being chokers. we know you want the grizz but pipe down a bit about it.
I know 2 games isn't a fair trial, but I see the games not starting the way they had been with Rasho starting. Our starters were playing so well. We had game after game with early leads by 6 and 8 and 10 points recently. Look at Manu again. His first shot, he makes a great drive into the lane but Nazr is on the wrong side of the defender to seal him off and he blocks it. Another play Nazr has no clue how to set the screen and Manu can't split the defenders like he does all the time. When did Manu go off- when Nazr was on the bench.
And I also am proving my point about rebounding. If Rasho played that many minutes and had 1 rebound there would be a ton of people in here calling him soft. With all those shots the Spurs missed, where are all his offensive rebounds. Isn't that what earned him the starting job?? It isn't so easy when you have to go up against their starters and when Tim is out there grabbing everything.
Don't forget that the Grizzlies played last night. They gave up a 19 point lead last night to the Mavs, also. The Griz are at home so that helps them some, but the Spurs are more rested than the Griz. The last couple of min. of the third (and following) is the time when legs start to go on the 2nd of b2b.
The problem is Gasol gets tired in the 4th quarter and than is ineffective.
Apparently the Spurs noticed too. They've gone to them the last two trips. Good call, dimsah.
Well, if we use the last year playoffs as an example, that theory doesn't make any sense...
Make that three out of the last 4 trips.
