Hey, I called his shot from the exact spot on the floor.

He always does that 1 step dribble to his right and fadeaway at the elbow. How the Craptors didn't know what he was going to do is just re ed.

Mike James is the kind of player that can be MVP for either team on a given day.

These Mavs are scary, no doubt. Even though the Raptors choked, the Mavs still made a ton of clutch plays.

Who said they didn't? Bonner guarded him pretty well, Dirk's just a pretty good shooter.

The mavs are a second half team. They have done this all year.

i'll get flamed for this but AT THE MOMENT

    mavs > spurs

spurs are playing like and playing lethargic while the mavs are adapting the fire and intensity that AJ had to pull out some incredible wins. had it been the spurs and the raptors, it probably would've been the spurs on the recieving end of the meltdown. i just hope SA doesn't it up tonight against GS. especially with the dallas game just around the corner

I disagree. Bonner should've forced Dirk to drive.

He bit on the fake like Dirk was going to take him to the hole. If I'm the coach there, I tell Bonner as soon as he takes that right step, jump that side of his body and get up in his grill. Bonner didn't.

agreed. good win for you guys. mavs and pistons are both excellent 2nd half teams while the spurs are a 1st half team that only plays 3 quarters of a game before mailing it in the 4th qtr time and time again

Please STFU. Bonner was all over him. Dirk just hit a clutch shot.

You know they're a clutch team when the corpse of Darrell Armstrong shows up to hit a clutch 3, a clutch assist, a clutch steal and game-changing defense

they shoulda put bosh on dirk on that last play. once again the raps are gonna be in need of a new coach. way WAY too many games the raps have given away this year.

They should have put Antonio Davis on him. Bosh had 5 fouls, so I can see not putting him on there. You don't want him to foul out. But Bonner? WTF?!?

Agreed. Bonner should've been nowhere near the floor during crunchtime today. He'd hoisted up an airball and missed all of his shots going into that last 3 he hit. I had no idea why he was on the floor, let alone hoisting up a game-tying 3-ball at that point. Mitc just simply got outcoached tonight. Playing Bonner pretty much the entire 4th quarter and OT is simply inexplicable.

i live in the toronto area so i see a good share of raptors games but is mitc l the right coach for these guys? i know a coach can't make a shot go in as thats up to the players but there have been SO many games this year where the raptors collapse that i'm thinking its more on poor coaching than it is on the players simply falling apart. i hope the raps can hang on to mike james, despite some late game blunders the dude is a stud

AD is not a perimeter defender. Dirk would have blown right by him for an easy layup or a foul at the least. With Charlie fouling out and Bosh being in foul trouble himself, Bonner was the next best option.

not only that but with the game on the line i'd risk bosh on dirk otherwise you get dirk with the easy basket as we saw tonight

I don't know how you can say it was an easy basket. Bonner was draped all over him, there's really nothing more that could have been done.

Anyone can say "Dirk will probably hit one from the elbow" That's not going out on much of a limb

Bonner's defense should've either force to Dirk to rush on his shot due to pressure or make him drive. Bonner did neither. For most people that is decent defense but Dirk you have to be closer.
