Seattle took the cake for worst fans last year in the playoffs when they cheered Duncan's ankle injury in Game 6. Winning the game on Tim's shot was the ultimate Karma payback.

It's not even the loss that pisses me off it's who we lost to. George Karl is a hypocrit, the front court is loaded with punks, but their fans are what pissed me off the most. Yeah it's an opponent, but at least show some class.
to be fair, spurs fans dont always act with class either.

Reasons for the defeat (in order):

    1. Need more effort rebounding the ball. Tim, Nazr and Horry should have been more aggressive.
    2. Subs ution patterns were bad. Even with 4 fouls, I would like to see Bowen on Anthony.
    3. Run the offense through Manu down the strech. He got subbed around the ~8' mark for a breather, and got back in with ~5'30" left. The first ball he touches again was with ~1'50" left. In the meanwhile, the Spurs had 2 baskets, 5 misses and 2 turnovers. With two touches Manu gets 5 points.
Nothing to worry about though... let's hope they start the game with more energy next time.
This is the best i have read in this topic, you say exactly what was the mistakes spurs did yesterday.

Timmy gets any call he wants? Are you insane? he gets no respect from the refs at all. He gets his eye gouged out by one of your thugs and they don't even stop play. don't EVER tell me he gets what ever he wants.

tim USED to be one of those guys who would keep his mouth shut to a point that if he DID complain then you knew it had to be serious. no he has to be one of the 3 biggest babies in the league. he needs to stop forcing bad shots in foolish attempts to draw non existent fouls and just play the damn game. i love tim but the constant ing to the refs has got to stop

how is that suppose to tell me if you cheer when someone gets hurt?

if we go based on internet posts i can find MANY that show a spurs fan hoping or praising something bad happening to another player.

Yeah, booing Ginobili is pretty stupid, but booing Derek Fisher is equally stupid by Spurs fans. The guy hit a shot on us, that's it. Sure, it was a soul-crushing, championship hopes destroying shot, but what do you want him to do, miss it on purpose so he doesn't hurt our feelings?

The game I saw - fourth quarter - Buckner had like three straight shots go down. Tims horrible free throws bricking off the left side- and lack of rebounding.

I looked up at the hustle stats and at half the Nuggets owned the Spurs 31 to 13.

I was embarrassed. I got happy in the third and first part of fourth when it was neck and neck.

The fans are out for blood - I admire their passion - I get pretty pumped when a good play happens, but never would cheer or laugh when someone gets hurt. When Parker - Tim and Nazr got hurt they were happy and standing up cheering.

I had a feeling the SPurs were going to have a hard time with Camby and Melo - back to back - high elevation - blah blah blah.

If the Spurs want another ring - they have got to get their heads out!

I am just as die hard a fan as anyone ever - (My girlfriend thanks I am nuts for getting LP to watch them every game possible that ABC doesn't up and hold the rights to.)

I guess when you poke him in the eye it doesn't.....he didn't get the call.

We lost because the lack of energy....and got outrebounded badly.....pretty simple to see IMO.

I was in pissed last night.'

Manu was on last night, and he barely got the ball down the stretch. I think he hit one 3 in the beginning of the 4th quarter, then went to the bench, came back with about 5 minutes to go and barely touched the ball.

The Spurs couldn't stop Melo. Bowen comitted some stupid fouls, which made us put Finley on Melo...

Everytime they had a chance to take the lead, or tie the game up again, they took some stupid ass shots, it seemed like they were waiting and waiting for the end of the game to make their move or something... no killer instinct at all. We waited long enough, and then Denver hit some threes, Melo pimped us, and Camby raped us down the stretch.

    ty basketball.

Oh yeah, we need a ing big man with balls.

The Nuggets grabbed so many offensive boards, and we wouldn't even try to get offensive boards, with the exception of a couple of steals after they pulled one down. I remember so many possessions where none of our big guys would be near the paint when we put up a shot.

    .

I don't know why, but that loss really pissed me off.

We had so many chances during the 4th quarter to take the game into our hands when Melo was on the bench. Even without Melo, we were still getting scored on almost every possession, at least it seemed that way. Andre Miller had like 6 in a row at one point, or something like that.

One thing did make me laugh though, when Pop sent out the All-White team:
    Beno
    Manu
    Brent
    Oberto
    Rasho

That was pretty funny at first, but what was pathetic was that Pop had that line up in for a good amount of time. Oberto doesn't have experience in this league, and gave up some easy . Beno and Barry got pimped by Miller...it was just terrible.

Pop did a good job on telling his team to start in playing at halftime, and they did, but then it just sucked after that.
