Mr. Got blocked in game 7 of the 2005 finals? gotta do better than that, he won't be able to be taking those 3's from the parking lot like he does with some many defense challenged teams

the mavs should dream on with their finals hopes, just because you have one good season of Defense doesn't mean you're automatically in, it just means you are getting better in that department which still has a lot of work to do.... DO NOT compare yourself to the champs when you are still chumps with no rings
The Palace.
55-21 (.720) in the playoffs since 1989 in 30 playoff series. The Pistons have lost two of the sixteen homecourt series at the Palace (2002 Celtics, 2003 Nets).
In the Finals, the Pistons are 8-2 (.800) at the Palace. The losses are by a combined 2 points and both were in overtime (105-106 vs. Portland in 1990, 95-96 vs. San Antonio in 2005).
The Pistons have had 3 Game sevens in the Palace since its opening in the beginning of the 1988-89 season.
May 30, 1990: Pistons 97, Bulls 83 - infamous Pippen "migraine" game.
May 4, 2003: Pistons 108, Magic 93 - T-Mac held to 21 points.
May 20, 2004: Pistons 90, Nets 69 - Kidd held scoreless for first time in postseason.
That's an average of 98.3 vs. 81.6 or a +16.7 margin of victory.
The Pistons magic number of clinching homecourt throughout is down to two games. It guarantees nothing; only the end of the game does that. The Spurs have won in the Finals against the Pistons in the Palace. But they have 1 in 4 chances of winning that series when looking at the numbers.
When making arguments against the Spurs, I start with the motivation of losing last season, I talk of the Pistons experience in pressure situations, and I finish with the deck being stacked in the Pistons favor because of homecourt, especially with 27 road victories and counting.

Blazers suck. (More).
Sorry. Three words.
What, is he gonna give them all an STD?
nope
he has sent so much game tape to the league office that they have officially cancelled the Finals due to time constraints
Why the Spurs won't win the le in TWO WORDS!
Troll Fantacy.![]()
What a puss. 3 NBA Championships, 3 Finals MVPs, 2 Regular season MVPs, and an All-Star Game MVP.
Keith Van Horn is much more a hardass than that Vagina Duncan.![]()
hes sad. the pistons and spurs have something they never will have.
Bling, did you read the rest of my post? I was saying the only way the Spurs wouldn't win the championship would be if Tim Duncan played poorly, which I also said HE WOULDN'T.
How that deserved an eyeroll, I'll never understand.
How dare they eyeroll you.![]()
well i havent seen it yet, so ill just throw it out there just in case:
" ty refs"
Championships, postseason awards, bigmen, defense...yeah, I guess I should back off.
yeah we shouldChampionships, bigmen, defense...yeah, I guess I should back off.
Stern Conspiracy
that's funny.
That's not a legitimate response to my comment on your apparant belief that the Spurs would be a championship team without Tim Duncan.
