I honestly can't believe that I'm writing this, but Phil Jackson got way too little respect in this vote. I'm firmly on the Dunleavy bandwagon for 05-06, but I think Phil did the best coaching job of his career to get that bunch into the playoffs.

Pretty wide open race, and a lot of candidates probably should have gotten more respect than they did, but I think Avery deserved it as much as anyone.

Yea normally guys that treat Spurs and Spurs fans lower then dirt deserve props for Coach of the year. After all Phil was so respectful of our 1999 win.

OR... He's the biggest and arch enemy of Spurfans and we hope he never GETS past 1st round again in his LIFE.

No person is perfect. But Avery lives to serve others it seems not himself so much...
