But when a spurs fan uses the 3-0 bailout, they arn't thinking about any of the points your made. They get backed into a corner and use the 3-0 excuse to make themselves feel good.
They use it on the same basis a cowboys fan would. Neither of them are thinking about the cores of the team and getting back to the playoffs. It's "this team beat us this year, but I'm gonna use the we won more championships so we are still better" excuse.
