Well if the Hornets deal JR they can get something else in return due to them not wanting that old ass Barry. Jefferies will get a better offer as will Scola. Al Harrington, Big Ben etc will get better offers as well.
Of course Ben Wallace, Al Harrington, etc will get more than the MLE. The Spurs don't need a player of their caliber. They just need a couple tweaks. Don't act like the Spurs need an overhaul. The series went to 7, remember?

Clippers got a better all-around player in Thomas and are better off without Radmanovic. Thomas gives them better rebounding and an occasional inside scorer. They're about even in terms of defense, but that's not saying much since neither is very good at it.
I'm shocked that Peja got such a big contract from someone other than Indiana. I was dead wrong on that. That said, I still don't see him immensely improving the Hornets into a Western conference powerhouse. They're probably a 7 or 8 seed at best if everything clicks.
