Our star center
The first thing that came to my mind was "P-I-M-P" for Beno with the glasses.
I use to be excited this time of year in the past. This season for some reason I am not excited at all. Not neccesarily cause of the acquisitions or lack thereof, but because the team is basically the same type of team that can win 57+ in the regular season if healthy, and it mostly will come down to playoff time. Plus you know what your going to get from this team. Elite defense, solid but not elite offense.
Some things I am looking forward to.
#1 If Duncan can return to 2002-2005 form. I really want the old Duncan back. The one who dominated vs the Mavericks, the one who dominated in the REGULAR season in 02,03,04, and 05.
#2 Parker improving.
#3 Ginobili staying healthy and not losing his productivity -- I am really worried about this to be honest. He isn't coming in this season with confidence, and there always a chance of injury or having to limit his minutes even more. The more his minutes are limited, the worse off the team will be in terms of regular season dominance.
#4 The new acquisitions. I don't know what to expect really. I hope Buter improves into a quality big man who plays 33+mpg. But well see.
A couple of the guys look a little on the beefy side except for Tim who looks too thin now.
