    Re-match! Re-match! Re-match!
Losing in a close game to the #1 team in the Country on the road? I'd vote for a rematch!

Anyone want to go on suicide watch with me if Rutgers makes the championship game?

Why? If they go undefeated in a BCS conference, they should go.

The rushing yardage, 202 yards, was a huge surprise. I think Michigan was giving up 30 yards per game, or as one statistician figured out, 39 inches per carry.

no to a rematch. The game was not as close as it looked. As much as I wanted Michigan to win. I just felt that Ohio State controled the game and if they wanted to score they did.
Ohio State had 3 turnovers and still Michigan could not win.

Bring on USC or Florida/Arkansas or if Rutgers goes undefeated they should get a shot. before Michigan

I agree, unless it's Notre Dame. U of M and OSU have throttled ND in the last 11 months by a combined score of 81-41.

I have to agree with this.

Let USC or Rutgers get their chance rather than Notre Dame or one of the ridiculously overrated SEC teams, though.

first of all lamarcus bryant is nuts. the game was close AND it was @ Ohio State. but if:

    1. USC beats Cal
    2. USC beats Notre Dame
    3. USC beats UCLA

...then SC deserves to get in, period. thats a ridiculously tough finishing schedule. if they lose one of those then Florida deserves to get in, if Florida also loses then ARK deserves to get in, if ARK also loses then i vote Rutgers to get in, if Rutgers loses then and only then a rematch. b/c while everyone including myself THINKS they know who is better and best you just don't know for sure until its played out.

I really hope Notre Dame doesn't get the bid. Michigan and OSU kicked ass in their games against them.

You're probably right. Even though Michigan may very well be the 2nd best team in the Country, they had their chance.
    Someone else's turn.

Notice I did not include ND as Michagan should go before ND..IMO

This is why I hate the BCS. U of M loses by a FG to the #1 team in the country in their house, yet other programs who've lost to average teams will get the NC shot. It makes no sense to me because the whole purpose of creating the BCS was to make sure the two best teams played in the NCG.

The only reason one loss teams are ranked above Rutgers is name recognition. If it was FSU/Miami/PSU with their record and schedule, there is no doubt that that team would be playing on January 8th.

well JGW i am not the only one with this opinion

osu totally dictated this game and when they came close to losing control michigan shot themselves in the foot

so what, then you're both wrong.

i agree that Ohio State was in control for most of the game, but the big play on both sides meant that the game could have gone either way. plus, it was in Columbus!

finally, when the game comes down to a roughing the passer...i think it could have gone either way.

  15. #90
i vote for a rematch for no other reason but that michigan is the only team that has a shot at beating OSU.

Whatever dude, well if we are both wrong thats bad for you and your team cuz we could see the rematch and your USC greatness will be snubbed.

wrong, if USC can hit on the deep ball...something they did against Oregon, Arkansas, and Nebraska...then USC could win. if they play like they are tonight, they will lose bad.

...they are frickin inches away from having put up 2 TDs to go with their 6 points. BUT, Cal has played SC close recently.

I would like UT to beat the ag-sips, and end up playing USC again in the fiesta. Unfortunately UT will probably lose to the ag-sips because Colt will still be hurt, and Fiesta will probably be Sooners and Boise State.

To play for a National Championship should you at least be a conference Champion?

This isn't the NFL where there is a playoff system. IF the College Presidents want to say the regular season means something then you should have to win your Conference Championship to play in the National Championship.

And to say this was a close game Ohio State was up by 11 or more points most of the game?

A&M will beat t.u. regardless. after two one-point losses @ home they are due for a big win.

Ohio State and Michigan are still the top 2 teams in the Country and yesterday was the true National Championship game. Go Buckeyes!!

Michigan lost to the Number 1 team and they should still be ranked #2, IMO.

After ND knocks off USC and since Michigan beat ND. Michigan deserves another shot at the le but I too think Ohio State controlled the game an even after 3 turnovers the Wolverines could not capitalize.

Rutgers is gone. Wisconsin at 11-1 is out of BCS contention since only 2 teams from any conference can be in the BCS.

How 'bout that Big Ten Conference!!!!

The best team in the country won yesterday. Someone has said earlier that OSU looked unstoppable.

They are. Pity to the second-rate team that plays them in the le game. Sorry homers, OSU is the undisputed best team in the country, and UM is unmistakenly the distant second.

    Everyone else will be bludgeoned.

So I guess we should just cancel the BCS since the National Championship game was already played?

Michigan played its best game and still was beaten easy by Ohio State. If Ohio State was to play Michigan again Ohio State would win by at least 15 points IMO.
Ohio State played a bad game and was never challenged by Michigan. Was it close on the scoreboard at the end of the game. but if you watched the game you knew Ohio State was going to win and if they wanted to score they would have.

If Texas would of finished with one lose would you want a rematch with Ohio State? Most people did not since they had already been given the chance to beat them and already lost. So why does Michigan get a pass?
