I love the brush off. The total lack of comment on what my point actually was. BTW, I'm a 22 year old female, so you can talk to me like one. Love the respect for other posters with a different opinion. Another very mature quality you have.
Ok - I haven't played HS varsity for 5 years... and that's about 5 years and 1,000 beers ago.

Ok - to address your other points: Yes, I hate everyone on the Lakers. It is ok for me to dislike Jason Terry for the way he talks, acts, plays, and for where he went to school. (Side note: there is not a single player on the Mavs I would want to come to the Suns - previous ones I would accept were Nash and Finley, but they're both gone now).
No, Robert Horry redeemed himself by destroyed the y-ass Pistons and Larry Brown in the Finals of 2005, because I used to like him when he played for the Suns and Rockets.
I've never like Devean George, Kobe Bryant, Phil Jackson, Lamar Odom, Derek Fisher, Luke Walton.... the list goes on. Josh Howard's "monkey nature" is in regards to his long arms and his jungle-like exclamations whenever he hits a shot.
I'm not being a hater - there are people on this board who say they hate when Jason Terry gives interviews, and I agree with them. He is not a post-season clutch player and he gets away with carrying the ball and traveling on a daily basis, and he does not deserve to be higher in the all-star voting than Tony Parker.
Devin Harris's little honeymoon of last season is slowly wearing off, as he realizes every lay-up he makes will not be an automatic 3-point play, and he's not going to draw a charge everytime he cuts off (see "blocking foul") a player moving toward the basket.
Stackhouse is an egomaniac who has never lived up to his potential coming out of North Carolina and is still a me-first player. (I don't think I've ever seen someone justify a boneheaded move like running back to the 3 point line against SA in Game 2 last year like he has - I quote: "I had a real good look." He must have forgotten that he barely grazed the rim with Ginobili right in his face.)
Dirk is not the consummate professional that Tim Duncan is - much less Steve Nash. Kobe is even a better leader than Dirk. Dirk cares more about getting his touches and his 25 ppg than he does about winning and setting a good example for his teammates (but he really gave it to that exercise bike last year!). He doesn't have what it takes (yet) to bring his team a championship (unless the Mavs suddenly get the calls D-Wade did last year... oh, wait - they already do!).
Hope that works for you, baby doll.
If that's the case, by default, you must also hate Iverson and Wade, the 2 guys that get away with it the most.nd he gets away with carrying the ball and traveling on a daily basis,
?????wtf?????Stackhouse is an egomaniac who has never lived up to his potential coming out of North Carolina
hasn't lived up to potential? No player dubbed "the next michael" ever lives up to that potential. But stack has most certainly lived up to his potential.
Works for me. Obviously you are en led to your opinions and I don't expect them to be the same as mine.
I just disagree with you about Terry not being a clutch player. Now don't get me wrong here, I do not believe he is the most clutch player by any means but he is pretty clutch. You threw the word "post-season" in there but you do realize he has only been to the playoffs twice now right? First year, he was very clutch against Houston in game 7 of the first round. Can't argue about the next round. When we lost to Phoenix, we fell apart in more ways than one. Now last year, he was very clutch in the SA series. Our biggest goal wasn't just to beat the Spurs, but he was a huge reason we were able to get over that hump. He was very clutch in the OT victory at home and showed up huge in game 7 after the infamous nut-punch. Again, the Miami series, no one was clutch, I would agree there. But to say he isn't clutch even a little bit is odd to me.
On Dirk being selfish...where do you ever see that? The guy wants to win. He could go for 30-40 every night, but many times this year alone, he has settled for 20 if that. When Josh is playing so well which he has many times in the first quarter alone this season, Dirk steps aside. There have been a few first quarters where he has taken only a few shots because others are hot. The guy has become a much better passer and is a big reason why the Mavs have there assist totals up from a couple years ago. You can't watch many Mavs game to say the guy only cares about HIS numbers. He makes some great passes and really tries to get teammates involved. Thats a big reason why Damp has been more effective. Dirk and co. finding him early.
There are things I agree with you on, but Dirk being selfish and only caring about his numbers is absurd to me. He takes over games completely if he is on fire i.e. Suns WCF game where he dropped 50, but there are plenty of times he doesn't mind letting Josh or JET steal the show. Again, you must not watch many Mavs games, which I would understand because I don't watch many Suns games either.
Oh, and the only guy I don't like a whole lot from the Suns is Raja Bell. Yes, he used to be a Mav and I wish he would have produced like that when we had him. However, he is one of those defenders who annoys the crap out of you, and dare I say...dirty. Yeah he is but I'm sure he knows and thats what works for him. I've played a lot of sports and play soccer in college now, and I just can't stand players like him. But....thats just my own opinion for whatever thats worth![]()

Hey RonMexico, since when did "slightly above average teams" as you put it, make it to the finals? I always thought the best teams only made it there. I think your mav hate is keeping you from seeing the truth. I'll take the mavs over the suns if they meet in the playoffs, we can make it a sig bet or something if you have the balls. So are you down with that?
Um, please don't get into this type of argument... Suns have been to two straight WCF and both times have been with a worse team than this one... I'm not going to make a 'sig bet' in December, btw -let's make it in April... So what if last year's Mav team made it - they won't make it this year... and they didn't close the deal in the Finals.
The problem about Dirk dropping 50 on the Suns in the WCF is the fact that he went to the line 18+ times... that's a problem for me, especially considering the fact that you all complain a lot about how much D-Wade went to the FT line.
You have an excuse for everything.
Oh, ok - if I weren't too busy right now, I would go back to all the threads that occurred during the Finals in June and find every point where a Mavs fan (probably you included) ed about "the treatment" D-Wade was getting...
All I'm saying is don't bring up that Dirk dropped 50 on the Suns when Nash dropped 2 straight triple-doubles the year before and almost a 3rd in a row to win it in 6 games (including a 48-pt performance in Dallas)... this really is the year that decides which is the better team and I'm excited for it...
