or George Bush.
yeah, the Stone Oakers!!!
(I say this because I now work over at Walzem & 35)
How does where you work correlate with who you like and dislike?
He's making a joke because he used to work at the Stone Oak location.
So seriously, did they send the O'Connor kids home?
Would you make your kids go to school if they went there?
I live just north of Stone Oak, and I used to work there.
oh, and go blow a monkey
My cousin goes to O'connor and she is going to transfer.
she has a bad respitory problem so it really isnt by choice
They say it's going to take 45 days or so (from the day it started) to put it out.
That's a of a long time for people to deal with it.
Hey, I was just asking. Not everyone that posts here knows the personal lives of everyone else.
Kori, this isnt funny.
You have clout.
Make something happen.

Like when the fire is out.
You've been unbanned for a long time.
I work in the LaCantera area and it smells, usually worse after the rain when it begins to smolder. I hate driving through that smell every day, I couldn't imagine living there or going to school there all day. I wouldn't let my kids stay home, they'd have to go to school but I'd transfer them somewhere else.
What's worse than driving through it? Driving through it behind an old smoking pickup truck!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ugh! It was grosss!
Did Angel guess 3rd Coast?
I was sure it was PDBM.
No, 3rdCoast is pretty harsh ... PDBM is pretty ... goofy. It's easy to tell them apart.![]()
LMAO at stone oakers first they had that SAHA scare and now this.
It's probably the same distance to both.

I don't understand why you think they are pussies? Here is some insight....
Most of those guys in the FD are volunteers, though HFD has paid staff that works a 24/48 shift. We volunteer what time we have, we have jobs(sometimes 2 or 3 jobs) we have families, we go to school to increase our knowledge to be a better "Public Servant".
We call in Mutual Aid from neighbouring departments, who also have to keep adequate coverage for their area. Sometimes those resources are limited due to we have jobs, families, school.
A large mulch fire is ALOT of work to put out. Try working in turnout gear for 4,5, 6 hours at a time. We are humping hoses around, digging, filling trucks up and/or shuttling water to the scene. We do all that and then we have to go to our jobs. Sometimes it is better to let the fire burn up its fuel.
Come up to a Volunteer FD sometime and we will show you how much work it really is to be a (CARRER/VOLUNTEER) FIREFIGHTER.
I hope you have been enlightened!
oops.I didn't mean to post that twice.
