So is the match between Haas and Gonzalez going to be shown live late tonight? The insomniac in me wants to know!
This should be called the "Offical Insomniac's Thread."

Damn, the latino side in me tells me to root for Gonzalez, but after that short clip they just showed of Haas' misfortunes these past couple of years, I'm undecided.

It's crazy Haas' career is determined by a tennis ball on the court during warmups. Did you see his friggin ankle???? Man, I feel really bad for the guy.

It's 2 am here. Still late, but not to bad. In Texas it must be real late or early morning.

yeah i remember when that happened, tough break...that's a terrible thing but don't feel that bad, the guy is a millionaire, has a fairly attractive girl cheering him on here today and looks like he has some swell parents

    Federer vs Gonzalez

This match could be great, I have Federer winning as I did before this whole thing started.

Federer will win but he won't go without losing a set in this tourney...he'll lose one to Gonzalez, probably the second or maybe the third before closing him out in the fourth. Gonzalez looks great but Haas looked plain terrible like he wasn't ready...and then he lost it mentally as well.

Not me. Oh well. Great match by Gonzalez. I'm thinking the next ones gonna be a classic. Federer should win, but it will be close.

a huge factor in this next match will be gonzalez's mental state on the big stage. i've seen matches against federer hyped before only to have the opponent come out and fold on the big stage...if gonzalez just plays it like any other game in terms of his nerves, he'll do alright and make a match out of it

I'm thinking it might go 5 sets. That's where Federer's experience comes into play. They are both similar players which is what's gonna make it so good.
