how exactly is a sex scene on tv sex?, or someone getting shot on law and order murder?
How exactly does fictionalized entertainment violate the Cons ution?
how exactly is a sex scene on tv sex?, or someone getting shot on law and order murder?
its a depiction
How exactly is the imprisonment of Muslims on TV actually imprisonment of Muslims?
im not catching your drift blaze
Obviously not or this thread would have ended 30 posts ago.
A depiction is not reality.
Neither of the three scenarios posted are reality.
Therefore, none of the three is real.
exactly which is what I assumed we both understood
So why not call for the cancellation of all of three?
AND I DIDNT CALL FOR THE CANCELLATION OF ANYTHING BRAHthere is a limit to how much sex and violence you can show on tv, but there is no limit to how bad you can violate the cons ution, you either do or you dont. It is irresponsible
1) I sent letters to my congressmen, senators, the president, the governer of texas and memebers of congress I had nothing to do with.
2) I made phone calls to many of the above offices.
3) I joined the Poker Players Alliance, a political lobby group.
4) I donated money against Kyle in Arizona along with many other poker players.
Oh, but most importantly I scoffed them on Spurstalk. Who cares about the above.
Anyhow, I'm glad that we have you to decide what should or shouldn't be on the air. All this time I was worried that the right wing nut jubs who wanted censorship were going to have to rescue us, but in reality you're the one who is going to save the children from the horrible evil that is 24. You're my hero Mookie - eteranal internet scoffer.
Supporting television censorship? Mookie, you've changed!
So why not call for the writers to censor themsevles on other shows?
props, but god, that must have taken...Hours. Im just glad it clear to all how much you love 24, thats it. The nature of the internets is scof e, and especially spurstalk, How am i deciding whats on tv- like I asked in a question, do i often take stands against TV shows?, No, Just ones that are blatently prowar, and sitting atop #1 while they piss on the cons ution, if i see similar on some tv show I dont watch, and yall are making a thread about it, I'll do it again
Damn them for bringing out civil rights issues and actively debating them in a television show.
Freedom Fighter Mookie will save us.
And if you can't seperate fiction from reality, you're more of an idiot than I give you credit for.
whats there to debate about civil rights?
im turning into an eminem fan too
Did you make a thread or take a stand about The Simpsons episode where Homer and Bart became moonshiners and "pissed on the Cons ution's" former amendment about prohibition?
Apparently a lot since we have a Political Forum.
good one, yeah i made several threads about it just like i did about 24, and also former amendments are much more important than current ones
Alright, fine...did you mind when The Simpsons did their parody of "Schoolhouse Rock's" I'm Only A Bill?
You know, that trampled on the process of a bill becoming a law and an amendment to the Cons uion.
Mookie is a perfect example of why I believe the biggest threat to freedom comes from the left.
Smoking laws, seat belt laws, trans fat laws etc....
Next will be the fairness doctrine.
you forgot patriot act, protest zones and warantless wiretaping
...so true. i'll never understand why the government feels the need to try and protect everybody from themselves.
