I'm not sure how that is a better question. Hitting somebody during a scuffle is both reasonable and even expected.

Take a look at your youtube again. Do you find it strange that Stack doesn't so much as blink or flinch when the bite takes place?? He never even checks his arm. That's because contact was not made. I would imagine that if the Mavericks keep playing the type of defense they have been playing this year someone on your team will start to get accused of the same types of things. The first few years Bowen was playing for the leauge he never got accused of this stuff, it was when he consistently started being a pain in the ass for star players that he started getting accused of these things. It was there only way they could try and get the refs to make calls against him, it did not work.
Van Gundy basically accused Josh Howard of playing dirty the other day in the following quote...
