You're correct. Bone is not rap. Bone is hip hop. There's a difference. E. 1999 Eternal was one of the best hip hop albums in the entire decade of the 90s. It still gets played to this day. For the love of money was my back in the day.
The best rappers in Texas are NOT in SUC nor are they in Swishahouse(they are garbage btw). But they best rappers are in SPC. From K-Rino to Point Blank to Klondike Kat. These are the best Texas has to offer. The DOC would have probably been the best from Texas if not for the accident. There's also a good one in Fort Worth named Twisted black but he keep going back to jail.
I also like:
Immortal Technique
MURS
Lupe Fiasco
Justus League
Little Brother
Tight Man
The Cunninlynguists
Bavu Blakes (he's from Austin)
Verbal Seed (Waco and there's many groups like this in Texas)
the d4l's, mike jone and paul wall (embarassment to the state of Texas), dem franchise boyz, yung jocs and young jeezy. sorry ass no talented clowns.
Twista and Do Or Die didn't copy them. That's simply how they rap in Chicago. And Bone wasn't the first to rap like that. Jay Z did it alonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng time ago. Think late 80's.
not one fool here said ICE-T! He has true talent, he can rap and act some what ok.
Body Count was a good project he did as well.
Twista has been around waaaaaay longer than Bone Thugs.
Piece of Strange is one of the best albums to date. Up there with Deltron 3030.
Puff Diddy! He is ing cool man!
John Barnes on the Anfield Rap.
