Great, Timmy with 2 fouls already. Gamecast says he blocked Nash's dunk attempt.

I would think the ratings would be stronger for the 2nd game...so, yes, I thought maybe they would.
Stop being a homer...the 1st quarter is meaningless anyway

Why in the world would they jump out of an OT game with 2 of the top east teams to a 1st quarter of 2 of the top west teams? Other than all of our personal biases to watch the Spurs-Suns game given where we live, most people around America would probably rather watch the end of this game then switch over.

Just sayin. They gotta do what's best for the network.
Yeah but FOX switches from the noon game all the time so we get the kickoff for dallas cowboy games locally and everyelse watches whatever game is almost over

They should at least show a little gamecast or score or something of the Spurs game.

Football games are broadcast regionally on Fox/CBS each week. Different markets can show different games. Network channels have affiliates in each city--it's not one big Fox/CBS broadcast tower somewhere broadcasting to teh whole country.

TNT (and ESPN), on the other hand, are NOT broadcast regionally. Whatever one part of the country gets on TNT/ESPN is what everyone else has to get. They only have 1 feed.

Don't get me wrong, I personally would rather see the Spurs game than this , but the fact is most of the country not in Texas or Arizona would rather finish out this game since it's a good one and then switch over.
