kissing the Spurs' ass is a surefire way to immediately endear yourself to Spurfan and get Mavfan to hate you.
It is? JeffDrumsDynasty isn't exactly endeared by Spurs fans.

When I give a person a new le under their user name, I move them from the regular user group to the old school members group - just sort of so I can tell who doesn't have les yet at a glance. The newer group is green. When you have a le, you become black.
Is it true that once you go black you don't go back?

having a healthy respect for the Spurs is one thing, but this dude is kneeling down and offering a full blowjob.
    Well, then that settles it.

    He's Mark Cuban.

    First off, welcome.

I think this might be a bad year to be a Mavs fan. This is an odd-numbered year, the Spurs are the best team in the NBA since the all star break, and the mavs are the media darlings, while the Spurs are the so-called "dark horse". Pop is a mad scientist and some yet-to-be-named bench player will be the hero of a western conference showdown.

    I like the Spurs' chances.

    Anyone for Spurs-Pistons, part II?

o guys! I just wanted to take a moment to pay you and your city a compliment. First off, It's one of my favorite places to come visit over from Dallas and the people are very nice....

Now it's time to get down to buisness.. My favorite team is the Mavs, I support them win or lose but, if the mavs are going to lose I want it to be at the hands of the Spurs.. Tim duncan is without a doubt and unique and incredible human being. He is my favorite player in the league because of the way he goes about his buisness.. He has the IT factor if I ever saw it!! I would trade Dirk and Josh howard straight up to have Tim with the Mavs.. I believe the mavs are going to have problems getting past either the suns or the spurs to be honest I'm just not buying into the regular season dominance. Between you and me, I still don't think the mavs got that spurs monkey off their back, not even close...

One last thing, Don't take for granted what you guys have experienced with your champoinship spurs because once it's gone sometimes it doenst seem like it will ever get back to what it once was... Just look at the dallas cowboys my other favorite sports team, They were the team of the 90's and all but have fell flat year in and year out... I guess I'm one of the rare fans that root for the spurs if the mavs go down because to me us Texans should stick together because we have allot to be proud of...
    welcome to the dark side.

you seem like a reasonable + smart fan. how do you feel about Cuban and players like Terry and Stack who like to play dirty and punch ppl in the nuts?

come on... bruce bowen is always kickin someone. there's pics of it, video footage of it as well... get serious! he does it.

anyway - i like the Spurs but my heart is forever linked to the Mavs. period. i like tony, def think Manu is a good player... and Tim... what can be said about the guy that hasnt already been said. but at the end of the day, I'm still a Mav fan and unless the Mavs go down, I will never root for any other team. period.

and i still scream SPURS SUCK when we play them... no matter how good of a team the Spurs are.

that is different. you do know about the feud between Gay allen and Bowen.

it's like the time Howard tried to fight Bowen I beleive it was, the first game of the season. I find nothing wrong about that.

i'm talking about the terry and stack do. that is gay.

stack is a . he always tries to start fights with anyone, especially guys smaller than him. Don't tell me you never noticed that . It's ok to fight until the whistle is blown, but Stack keeps trying to fight after the whistle has blown. I hate that er.

okay whatever. first a video of him fouling Shaq, and now he's accused of picking on guys smaller than him. although i don't see how a hard foul on the largest hulking beast in the NBA is equivalent to KICKING a guy in the spine. say what you will, you'd take stackhouse on your team in a heartbeat.

The Spurs have been pretty focused on getting guys of character and quality. Trouble makers usually don't make it in SA (see Dennis Rodman).

I'm not sure how Stack would fit.

well you can stick with brent barry and his character and quality then, i'll take stackhouse on my side any day.

and how much character is involved in kicking a man in his spine?

i'll give bowen a pass for "losing his cool" if you give terry a pass for "losing his cool" although i'm nearly certain you'll find some BS excuse as to why what terry did was somehow worse.

Watch that video again. He didn't kick him to hurt him. There was no malicious elbow like Kobe threw at Kyle Korver earlier this year. There was no "I got my homies back" Carmelo Anthony punch. And there was definitely no Chris Kaman/Nene prostate exams or Chris Paul crotch punches. He pretty much pushed him with his foot. Was it right? No. But was it maliciously evil? No. Ray Allen is a and that was an act of frustration. Not anger or ill-will.

    Check out this flagrant foul.

EDIT> If you can't admire what Bruce does, you don't appreciate the game. He does the "dirty" work that primadonas like Dirk don't want to do.
