dude. I agree a few calls went our way in game 1 but we one because of shots falling.

This one was a bit diff. Oh why am I arguing on an enemy board? You guys won.

    1-1

    Let's do sat
Are you blind? The calls were as even as I've seen in an NBA game in a while. Both teams were allowed a little contact at the rim, as it should be. If touch fouls were called like you want - TD, TP, and many other Spurs would have deserved a ton more free throws as well. For what it's worth, the officiating in game 1 was very good as well. It's been well done this series, and these zebras deserve a lot of credit. Karl is just a whiny , he is trying to take a job well done by the officials and tarnish it. That's wrong.

we got one. You think we are going to advance without their help?
Wait -- I thought you just said the Spurs have the officials in their back pocket. Now you're saying the Nuggets have no chance to advance unless the officials help them out, which would suggest that the Nuggets aren't good enough to win without a bit of extra help from the officials.

    Which is it?

I saw Iverson flop on meaningless contact in the early 3rd and somehow, he was able to pick up a foul on a guy who has more MVP's than he does.

with the same frequency? I saw him get robbed most part of the game. But anything SA. that's a foul.

    Not buying.

Manu might have drawn a foul on a flop once tonight -- though the replay seemed to show that he got fouled.

You'd have thought Duncan shot Iverson dead on the spot with the way AI reacted to meaningless contact.

Fortunately, even if Denver is able to get Game 1 treatment all over again in Game 3, Pop won't say anything about it. It's one of the things that I love about Gregg Popovich -- he actually respects the opponent and the game.

i never bagged on Pop but the bias was apparent.

Manu doing that is old news.. maybe he does that every once in a while but he doesnt really do that anymore. Iverson does it like 15 times a game.

Who hasn't? That's all Karl could talk about during the 05 series. But just out of curiosity, which play are you talking about--the one where Manu got popped in the face while driving to the basket?

So a shooter leaning into a defender shoud be en led to a call?

I'm not. The Spurs lost game 1 because they didn't make shots. But if you're going to complain about officiating in Game 2 going in favor of the Spurs, I'm not sure that you can do so consistently without admitting that the officiating in Game 1 went in the Nuggets favor.

Of course, I'm not the one defending my team's coach ing about officiating in a public forum, either.
