Cavs go up by six early, Spurs completely dismantle them from then on. Cavs cut the lead to within 15 in the third quarter.
PS: The Spurs won't let Lebron go to his right. The Cavs won't be able to stop Manu from going to his left.
I expect rust for several minutes, then, like in '05, Pop will call a "polite" time out and the rust will disappear.
Over the last few days the Spurs look and sound like they are in this to get what's theirs immediately. Clamp down defense, get Duncan rolling early, get the perimeter guys good looks. Show the Cavs, and the world, that this is the best team in the league.
I've got Spurs in 6, but I'll take it anyway they do it.

PS: In '05 I was lurking here, too nervous to actually post. I've enjoyed being here, it's going to be even better celebrating with you guys instead of eavesdropping on you!
I actually think the Cavs will come out strong in the 1st qtr maybe take a lead into the 2nd. Spurs will be a little rusty but before the half, the Spurs will start to hurt them inside with Tim, get our shooters open shots when they double and they will start to get in rythm.
I actually think Cavs will start slow. Spurs will have big lead but Lebronze will get hot in the 3rd and it will be close game all the way. Nailbiter and SPurs win!

I expect the Cavs to go up by 7 in the first quarter. Spurs will fight back and win by 5-7 points. Time to go to bed and then I have to get up at 3 am to finally watch the game.

how can u say that lebron has nothing on duncan. If duncan were on the cavs and lebron was not, it would have been orlando W/ dwight howard all over again. Pay respect when its due. James is a better player all around than duncan any day of the week. Ur sleeping on the king and u will pay for that. Maybe after the cavs win tonight you will take them more seriously. My guess is when the spurs finally come to, it will be too late for them to recover.
LeBron a better all around player than Duncan? WTF are you smoking? Duncan actually plays defense. Rather well in case you didn't notice the All NBA defensive teams. LeBron is good, great even. But he's not in Duncan's league on both ends of the court. You better look up respect before you don't give any to Duncan.

i fully expect duncan to get his typical numbers. My point is that it will not be enough because he got his numbers in the last two times he faced the cavs & the spurs still lost. Also the cavs defense has really improved throughout the year especially in defending the 3. Cavs are #1 in the league in 3point D. I dont think san an will get any easy points.
