Ok so when Tim tested positive he wasn't a le holder?
Tim got his belt taken by Mir via broken arm. Josh was relieved of his newly acquired le after beating Couture.

I can't quite remember when his positive test was. I think it was between his championship runs. Maybe right after the Mir fight?
It was right before the Mir fight. he had it stripped for testing positive.

I was just reading up a little on Aoki. I never realized that he's a black belt under Yuki Nakai, the toughest SOB to ever put on the fingerless gloves!
What I can't find is any information on his BJJ accomplishments. Anybody know if Aoki has ever competed in ADCC, the BJJ World Championships or anything like that? Just curious.
ADCC info is very hard to come by. Their website has gaps and so does wiki.

You need to spend hours sifting through sherdog.com unless the great LEONARD knows a site.

So far I'm coming up dry on Mike. Are you doing a write-up on him? Have you messaged him on myspace to try to get some old footage?? I still have a few more places to check but they're longshots...
He is giving me an interview. We have chatted a few times on various subjects and he seems like a very cool down to earth dude and now that the IFL has my attention I wanted to start focusing on it more and it seemed like a logical choice to do one with him.
He has a solid record and he seems to really be hitting a stride. A solid up and comer. His next fight is Aug 2 for the semi's.
