The Suns have been to the finals twice.
    You mean this?

    Or this?

Hey, why don't you tell me some stories about Bob Davies and the 1951 NBA Champion Rochester Royals?

And YOU should be concerned with just making it out of the first round.
Mavs had made it past the first round 6 out of their 8 playoff trips under Dirk. Why don't you worry about finding an answer for Tim Duncan?

Shut up or you're gonna get the backhand again. Last time I checked our body of work is more impressive than yours. We at least deserve to be mentioned as a championship contender, you guys are nothing but pretenders. Here's our core: Jet - 30, Dirk - 29, Josh - 26, Devin - 25, Diop - 23. Finley and Bradley's dead money comes off the books next year. We're gonna be in the thick of things for the next five years. Our window of opportunity will eclipse San Antonio's since Duncan has a good three years left at the elite level.

Unlike the Sons, who sold off FOUR first-round draft picks and James Jones because they don't understand the concept of the CBA. Trade Marion already and start over, you're not going anywhere with the current crew.

damn, shark has teeth, was dallas even in the league before '95? i swear brad davis and rolando blackman were cba legends, weren't they??

Steve Nash has played about a million playoff games and still hasn't made the Finals.

    2-time MVP my ass.

No doubt it will be three after next year...

The media owes it to Nash just for the season he had last year.

Read his post, he didn't mention anything about the mavs owning something. He said the Spurs own you, dumbass.

and the mavs couldn't own if they had good credit and more liquid than the ocean, that's what i'm saying, christ almighty

cause what would you have to dispute, your team got thier ass handed to them, but hey great 67 win season though. feels good to have that MVP trophy over there to makes you think of all the good times. welcome to my world ho
I'm over it. We have about five, six more chances to get it done with this crew. Unlike these whiny crybabies who can't accept that their team is never going to do . "It's David Stern's fault!"

It's like the Spurs are the Evil Empire, the Mavericks are the Rebel Alliance, and the Suns are the Ewoks that ruined everything with their stupidity and childishness.

I guess none of us can talk smack to Celtics fans if you want to bring up ancient history. Face it, since the realigning of the West after the summer of 04, with Shaq heading East and Nash heading West, this is how it is:

    Spurs > Mavs > Suns.

Go talk to a Grizzlies fan if you want to feel superior.

That's when you know you're out of comebacks.
At least my posts make sense. Tell me what was the point behind your post with your fantasy movie.

Nash = Stockton, in more ways than one. Oh wait, Stockton actually made it to the Finals a couple of times.

I think a more apt analogy is that the Spurs are the Old Republic, the Mavs are the Empire slowly growing in the shadows, and Suns are those ing Jar Jar things.

I wonder if Dallas will find away to pull an even greater choke job this year. It seems kind of silly, but I never thought they would be able to "one up" themselves from 06.

How could you top their performance last year? If you were going to write a script, how could they possibly pull a greater choke job?

    Is it even possible?!

If we're going to compare this to Star Wars, the Suns are the rebellion, the Mavs are the Ewoks and the Spurs are some character in the background without a line that goes completely unnoticed.
