I fell in love with music from like 92 to 02 i think.
basically when i heard the Stone Roses for the first time....on through oasis, verve, the charlatans, if it came out of manchester in the 90's i loved it...happy mondays...
i went so far as glastonbury to see a lot of these guys in 98....thats where i first learned of embrace (saw em live in the pouring rain)
i miss those days.
Bloc Party is fan ingtastic. Haven't picked up their new one yet. You listened to the remix album of their first album? That's a trippy one.
Hotel by Broken Social Scene
I saw them open up for Snow Patrol at Stubbs.....Embrace that is.
see....how the did i miss that.
When i first heard embrace in 98, no one i knew at the time had ever heard them. I felt cool bringing in something so good to the "group"
honestly, strange as it may sound, my old breakup really took me out of the loop of a lot of the stuff that made me..me...and that i kept up with...including shows like snow patrol and embrace.
me for missing that.
its hard to wake up again after girl steals your soul.

My wife and went to europe last october. (london paris and rome)
This song was on every single radio station all the time there. Funny story in Rome at the train station. there were two national italian police in fatigues and machine guns at the coffee shop there.
this song was on...and one of the soldiers sorta started doing the hip shake thing while standing there with his hand on the counter, and driking his coffee with the other, machine gun thrown over his shoulder.
tracy and i still laugh about that when this song comes on.

Yeah I was pretty bad a few years ago, but ive tried to stray away, that is depressing and brings back bad memories. Like I have stopped listening to Dashboard Confessional. Oh I got one for you guys........The Doves, ever listen to them?
The Doves - Catch the Sun
Rage Against The Machine - Testify
Yes it's from the new one. I haven't listened to all of it but my mom made me listen to End of The End the other day (which happened to be the 2nd year anniversary of my grandfathers death...so it was a tear jerker). The songs I have heard are really good.
