This is the official "time to hang them up fight"...
O'Haire has NOTHIN for Butterbean...
Silva was never in trouble in that fight IMO...
I understand that, but Lutter nearly beat Silva and I think if he can win his next 3 or 4 fights he should be in line for a le shot.

Really? Lutter had him mounted and was pounding on him.
You're using "pounding on him" VERY loosely...

Those weak punches did nothing to Silva...which is why he never turned away from them. It'll take a lot to rock him...just watch him spar with Big Nog without any headgear...

Very smart move doing a GP.
I bet the UFC is working on one.

Obviously Dana's done protecting Forrest and he's now going to feed him to the big fish. That actually makes me a bit sad, I like Forrest![]()

I like him too...but not everybody can win. I think he'll end up as a UFC gatekeeper...
shogun will win but i wouldnt count on forrest going down without a fight. hes really scrappy and may try to hurt shogun. should be a fun fight.
Right next to o.
The most overrated MMA fighter running right now.
Forrest will scrap...no doubt. He'll have a slight size advantage but that's about it. Shogun is better than him at everything. His best chance is a cut stoppage or that a wild punch will land PERFECTLY...and that may not be enough. This punch from Lil Nog...
dropped him but didn't knock him out...and he actually came back to win the fight...

Forrest is with Xtreme Couture now, so you know he'll have a good gameglan and will be in great shape. It sounds like Shogun is training hard too though. If he was Shogun v2005 I'd actually feel bad for Forrest. We still haven't seen THAT Shogun since the dislocated elbow...
By the way, Lil Nog just took bronze in boxing at the Pan American games...

Why he's not in the UFC already is beyond me. Sounds like he's jumping back into MMA full-time now, so maybe it'll still happen. Wake the F up Dana!
AGREED!!
o is a hot topic. I got some horrible hate mail from a write I did where I was critical of o...
All I said was he will never win the belt again in his present form.
This is what he sent me
""not that i am a fan of ortiz, but he was a 5 time ufc light heavy weight champion. know your material. This is why idiots like you will remain writing internet articles and never have an actual job. i will make sure i never come back to this website again. Good Work."
lol

He was the 5 time champ during a time when extremely one dimensional fighters COULD be champ...
I never said he wasn't a champ. I think the ass half read what I wrote. He probably has 10,000 posts on sherdog.
