He sure has a large family.
Instead of trading their exception for Beno, the Cavs will sign Troy Hudson instead. Sweet. This is the sort of movement that will ensure the Spurs won't spend again, nor sign Ime Udoka.
He sure has a large family.
Sign Beno to a 5 year extension a be done with it.
dude was flippin insane in 04 during the WCF against LA if i recall... but that was a long time and a lot of injuries ago.
so had he have his tryout yet or still deciding which monday?
if he comes get rid of that hairstyle with the 2 moth balls on his head
what le contenders are spending money?
The Spurs are obviously trying to force the Cavs to take Beno.
I seem to remember some dumbass ragging on me for saying i'd rather see Darrik Martin buckup Alien than Huddy, especially in the playoffs in 04.
You liked him so much.
FWIW, his ankle IMO ruined him. Not physically but he relied on his speed, when he was hurt and Flip didn't rest him, he started shooting alot of outside shots. He has never gotten past that mentally.
He got little playing time last season so he should be well rested and hopefully recuperated from any nagging injuries.. I like him as a backup to TP.. you'd have JV for defense and TH for offense, depending on what the situation calls for..
Spurs trade Beno Udrih and a future 2nd rounder (Houston's) to Cleveland for David Wesley's contract. Sign Troy Hudson for vet minimum.

.Point guard Troy Hudson, who received a $10 million contract buyout from the Timberwolves this summer, is talking with the San Antonio Spurs and Milwaukee Bucks but wants his role defined before he'll sign
seems to me beno is out
I doubt that Hudson will accept a role as a 3rd PG - even on a championship team.
but they are also bringing in garcia
I say sign him only if you plan on having him play backup for 1/3 of a season. We know what happens next.![]()
