Dont know why they would run Tyson to the inside, he needs room to use his speed

They know he can put the burst on to the outside, but one of the knocks on him is that he can't run between the tackles. Garrett wants to see if he's made any progress and get him some work inside. Nice preseason move.
The Colts are World Champions so this game doesn't mean squat to them other than the guys fighting for reserve roles.
But OTOH, I think this one was big for Garrett. He's popping his OC cherry here tonight, and is doing a damn good job IMO.
Hes been doing a great job, spreading the ball around, mixing the pass and the run really well.
Im also really immpressed with the o-line tonight, no pressure on the qb really all game other than when Romo went down that one time
One of the biggest thing tonight is that there haven't been many penalties. For a PS game that is outstanding.
I think it's funny how Cowboy fans are busting their nut over a preseason game. The first preseason game for that matter.
Talk Texan . Go right ahead but you won't see me saying how good my team is after one ing drive.
Ive just been making observations, I never said they were going to win the SB or anything.
Just nice seeing the team back on the field
Try being realistic.
I am being realistic:
1. We're glad to see football is on the screen.
2. We're glad to see that our new OC is diverse in his calls w/o opening his playbook to show alot.
3. We can't be optimistic and be a realist at the same time. Every team's fans has aspirations for upcoming seasons. It's what makes sports, sports.
4. I have yet to see a Cowboy fan in here say we are going to win a superbowl.
But since you want to hear it, I think with the NFC being so weak and the NFL being in it's most unpredictable and mediocre era ever, we can become a superbowl contender. Carolina went to the superbowl one year after going 7-9. Pittsburgh became a superbowl contender one year after going 6-10. New England had a horrible 2000 season but won the superbowl the next year. The NFC is weak and the teams that are considered better than Dallas is not that much better.
Something special doesn't = SB ring. I'd be happy with an NFC championship berth.
We'll see who's right when I bump this thread in December...
Thats what I wanted to see.
I'll bump this in November when you are out of the playoff running.
