Nice form on the jumper by Splitter. If he can hit that shot in the NBA, that'd buy him a lot of time on the Spurs.

    what channel is this on?
NBAtv. If you don't have it, go to http://nba.com and on the right hand side they have a link for a live feed.

If you have it on FullScreen make it smaller, because full size sometimes makes it lag.

On fullscreen it looks ty for this feed, so I've had it on small the whole time.

Maybe, but it also looks bouncier off the rim as well. Maybe it's just seeing thr rotation in a different way because of the colors.
Yeah, probably that white stripe gives that impression.

Argentina risking too much, Brazil is defending hard, what is the point of keeping the starters? Just send the subs in, if you win with the subs it would be even sweeter, and there's nothing to lose.

Splitter was really hammering Scola with his body, he easily could have been called for two fouls instead of just the one he's gotten.

    and re: Splitter's hook shot

He just gets nowhere when posting up. Scola, whose defense everyone hates on, pushed him further away and into a bad hook. And if you go back and watch the other games you'll see other guys handle him easily when Splitter posts up. For instance, Splitter got nowhere posting up Carmelo Anthony except pushed further away from the hoop.

How come Alex Garcia had to be the one Brazilian with a regular name? He didn't even get to be Alexinho Garcia or something.

@ Hernandez (Argentina coach) during timeout:

"We'll go into halftime 4 or 6 down, no more, ok?"

WTF??? TAKE OUT THE STARTERS IF YOU DON'T EXPECT TO WIN!

I think it's safe to say that Splitter has no post game to speak of. He's usually the tallest player on the court ... and he's usually stationed near the three-point line.

He'll need some sort of post game in the NBA to keep teams from going small against him. You can't be a seven-footer with absolutely no post game against smaller players ... unless you are a monster rebounder and that doesn't look like it'll be the case with Splitter.

Splitter completely anchors Brazil's defense. Take him out and the middle is wide open.

He plays alot like Oberto right now. Alot of Screens up top and occasional back door for lay up..
