I forgot about Sam Rockwell and Stephen Rea.
Two pretty damn good actors who don't always get recognition.
Jeff Daniels. Unfortunately for him, he'll always be known best for the diarrhea scene in Dumb and Dumber. But his work in Pleasantville and The Squid & The Whale, among others, is incredible.

Eric Bana made that movie watchable.

I'll admit, I haven't seen much of his work, but DAD, Pleasantville, PROC and TS&TW alone show his incredible talent and flexability...
I don't know if anyone has mentioned Chris Cooper (American Beauty, October Sky) yet but he's great in everything I have seen him in. I think he's highly underrated.
